With all this guessing what someone's ascendant is, I realized that with my 6th house Leo I am most proud of my big, fluffy, very Leo-like dog.

He's what I tend to take pictures of and post about most on Facebook.

I noticed that some people post tons of pictures of their kids (perhaps Leo 5th house), tons of pictures of their spouse (perhaps Leo on the 7th), or lots of pictures of themselves (maybe Leo house 1)?

Then I have friends who I suspect are Virgo rising (Leo in the 12th) who never post on Facebook and keep everything very private.

I'm directing this question at people under 35 or so because it's more common to be on social media.

Some other theories
Taurus rising (Leo on the 4th) I have a friend I think is Taurus rising who posts lots of pictures of big family gatherings at her house.

Cancer rising (Leo on 2nd) pictures of the food and drinks they are having, possessions.

Gemini rising (Leo on 3rd) pictures of their car, gadgets.

I do have social network accounts, most of which are neglected for lengthy periods of time. ^^; My FB serves to keep me connected to my family "back home" (USA, I'm in Canada, and see them infrequently). The photos I share are usually, and almost singularly of my son, for my mother and surviving grandparents, and aunts to view, as well as my closest childhood friends.

Sounds, like a Cancer 11h, 9h Moon & Gemini MC way to "share" those interests, more than a 12h Lion-way. ~ granted, my Sun in 5 rules that 12h Lion, and is exact trine my Moon... I don't share/participate in social media connections like I did in the past, it's really a waste of time, (at my age anyway)! lol ^^; When I was younger, I shared wayyyyyyyyyy too much, - of course my hobbies were tied into it! (5h Sun).

Leo, and the Sun are not the most dominant in my chart. They actually fall in the "least" dominant/influential sector. >.>;

Sag, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Gemini - and their rulers, and their domains, are more influential, more dominant... so, you could say I'm least likely to share things of a 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 12th house nature. lol (which would be accurate, I don't indulge in kiss-n-tell, I don't like to share my most valuable items, or those I've inherited, and I really don't share the skeletons I keep in the 12th house. mwahahaha!!!) XD

I loved MySpace (I'll miss you!), but HATED FaceBook with a passion. I hate the culture of it, the self-aggrandizement...ugh! I HAAATTTTTEEEEEDDDDDDD being tagged in pics, I hated people I didn't know asking for friend requests...it just brought out the complete "BAH HUMBUG!" in me, lol.

I'm really private and don't really post anything on my facebook, I even deleted my facebook a couple times cuz I was so done with it and the annoying pointless posts on it but then got back on it again lmao!
I only post things that are really really really important to me!
Or I change my Profile pic or Timeline Cover to "express myself" lmao

I'm a Virgo rising (27 degrees), and I'm like this, too! I've deleted most my "social media" accounts and everyone thinks I'm some sort of weirdo hipster for it, haha...I don't actually have any sort of philosophical objection to social media (obviously I'm posting here), but I find most of it (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, etc.) so vapid and shallow!
