Does anyone have their north node in the 6th (or know someone who does), and if so, do you find yourself (or them) having a desire--even need--to group things into categories and almost demand precision in your life and from others?

Technically, my NN is in the 6th, but it's only a few minutes away from my DSC (I relate to both descriptions).

To answer your question, it depends.
I don't usually group things into categories, even though sometimes I know it could be useful. In my case though, I think it's because I'm too used to living in a chaotic way - I have Gemini rising, and Gemini SN in the 12th/conjunct ASC.

About precision, here again, it depends.. I have conflicting elements in my chart that make me like it and dislike it lol. Virgo Moon square ASC/SN. I usually like precision in my personal life, like when I'm talking about feelings or events; but when it comes to more general topics that don't affect me personally, I skip steps easily.
It's really odd, but I often miss some things that others notice right away, and vice versa - I notice things that no one pays attention to (like really insignificant stuff).

It's hard to reconcile both energies because Sag and Virgo are naturally square, and my NN is both in Sag and in the 6th - details VS big picture. Add to that the DSC factor and you get a very conflicted person

Yes! I have North Node in the 6th! I have a ton of planets in the 6th actually – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Pluto. I hate disorder and my perfectionism is self-destroying. Because most of those planets in the stellium are conjunct it’s very hard for me to separate their influences – like what applies to ego (Sun), what applies to my emotions (Moon), what applies to my love life (Venus) etc.

Lol you're like my astro-twin or something.
We have the same Sun/ASC combo and a stellium in the 6th - I have Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto in the 6th.
Most of them are afflicted though, so I have a love/hate relationship with everything 6th-house. I'm all in extremes - either a cleanfreak or the messiest person around; healthnut or food junkie; lazy or workaholic.. But well, Venus is the ruler of my 6th and it's in the 6th, so.. I'm pretty much a lazybum who loves comfort.

Venus is my 6th House ruler as well but 6th House covers all of Scorpio so I guess Pluto can count as house ruler too (which is also in the 6th).
