Topic: Confusion about My North Node in Leo 4th house placement

Hi All,
I am confused about my North node placement.
I have been reading a lot about it. My North node is in Leo, which is all about being creative,personable, and in the spotlight. Supposedly I have many lifetimes on the sideline- in the audience. My north node is also in the 4th house, which means in the past I was the boss, made a name for myself, career driven, goal driven. Now this confuses me because if I was in the limelight with my career then the Leo energy is telling me to be in the lime light again. Also from all the research I have done I am supposed to be very goal oriented now and business comes very easy to me. This is not the case in my life. SO can anyone clarify this placement? Any experts on the North Node. I'm confused and would love some clarity to this topic.

Are you relatively young?
I have NN in Pisces in the 4th.
I didn't recognize my 10th house south node until i was older and saw the workaholic side to me. IP: Logged |

I am not relatively young. I'm 32 years old. Just a question for you are you- Does achieving things come naturally for you? Also have you been accustomed to hiding your emotions rather than sharing them? I know this is supposed to be a big thing for people with North Node in 4th house. Their emotional life has been neglected for so many life times, that this life requires they have an emotional base and intelliegence inside them.IP: Logged |

It just sounds like you had past lives as an administrator and were not family oriented and this Leo north node in 4 will reward you for enjoying a toned down life at home rather than a demanding career that takes a lot of your time and effort. You could still have that career, but south node suggests you will be faced with many challenges if you decide to follow your south instead of north. North just wants you to chill at home, maybe looking after your children, inspiring them, or being a creative type. You will experience rewards when you decide to spend more time at home pursuing your inner lion. Sure sign of a domestic goddess experience/type. Do you feel like a domestic goddess?

thank you very helpful, I am a home body. lol I just want to be at home a lot and chill. I would like to feel like a domestic goddess. One thing with the Leo energy is that I love acting and being creative. I also get sad when I think of not being able to make that a career for myself. This was my confusion about the Leo energy bc it's true I want to use my Leo creativity and be in the spot light. So does that conflict with the 10th house south node? I would like to have both. I have NN in 4th house. Didn't realize till my 30's that a fulfilling life for me wasn't about having a successful career or prominance. That my focus should be arou d family and home. Interesting what you said about NN in 4th having to learn to express their emotions more because they bury their emotions. I definitely do this but I also have natal moon in the 12th so I thought that was why. IP: Logged |

This is how I feel. Although I have no node in Leo, my Sun and Mercury are in Leo. My sun aspects every planet in my chart too.
SO - to answer your question, kinda? I can seemingly get promoted with a flick of the wrist. I am my own worst enemy though. Maybe it's my NN pull or some of my chart's afflictions. I think I'm emotional enough. Or I'm not objective enough to answer this question. So maybe not

I change my answer - I definitely think I am the most emotional of my immediate family. SO YES to not accustomed to it. My siblings are all Earth signs, my dad is double earth and my mom is air/earth. My family is definitely more logic over feeling. (I am fire/earth moon by the way)

You're welcome. The fourth house placement does not emphasize a public career. You might find when you go out into the world and try to fulfill your dream, you will face challenges and obstacles due to your south node placement. You might even feel as if you are somehow at odds with your destiny. It is like experiencing a bout of bad luck that leaves you wondering why it is happening. This is how the nodes work. IP: Logged |

that is hard to hear. What if I just want to be a working actor who gets paid for what they love doing. Forget the fame just doing what I love. Is the Leo energy only directed toward the home?IP: Logged |

You can always give it a go. Nothing can stop you from trying. The south node is just an explanation, but it cannot keep you from using the energies if that's what you choose. It's just an explanation for when things aren't as smooth as you wish.IP: Logged |

I have the opposite - South node in Leo in the 4 th house. I have an Aquarian North Node in the 10th. I have to leave the family and go out and make a name for myself. But my Saturn squaring both MC and nodes make it challenging for me. I wish I could send you my South Node in Leo energy to you!IP: Logged |

This is very true in my case of NN in 4th. I had a compelling desire to be successful in some major career, power, prominence etc. however nothing seemed to work out as planned. It always seemed like doors were shutting in my face. Once i started started studying astrology and my NN, I realized it is my soul's purpose not to be so career-oriented! IP: Logged |

With a south node in LEo and North Node in Aquarius you have spent many lifetimes in the lime light, North node in Aquarius would indicate a need to be more of a humanitarian. Making that your career, helping others. South Node in Leo indicates you have been the star, the actor, famous for your creativity. My south node is in Aquarius in the 10th house, so I've done the whole humanitarian career thing. My NN is in Leo so being the center of attention when it comes to my creativity and family is where it's at.IP: Logged |

I went on a few celebrity astrology chart sites. Turns out a lot of famous people have NN in the 4th house. For example Edward Norton, David Bowe, Steve Jobs, And Bruce Willis. If you have this placement it does not mean you can not have a career. IT just means that you have a whole another side of you psyche you need to give birth to. And that side is the emotional life, the center of your core. Close intimate relationships. For women living out what it is to be a mother, the feminine. Feelings are big with this placement, nurturing, acknowledging you watery self.
It's funny bc as an actor it's all about feelings, in the beginning of my training I had a real problem with it, now it's so easy to tap into my characters emotional state. North Node in Leo in the 4th house. I figure it out. Living a creative life in the world of emotion and feeling. Creating things that will affect people on a level of emotion.
