My bf is a Taurus moon one of his most important thing in life is food...home cooked meals.

However, he is quite a picky eater. He doesn't like any sort of seafood or fish (on the other hand, I can eat anything...lol), no raw onions unless cut into small pieces served during taco night (lol???), not a big fan of veggies but he does eat it when I serve it. The guy can literally sit there and down 120549235981245 grams of chocolate, he loves his chocolate. I'm a Libra sun and moon, so I'm more of a Wine/Cheese person and he's more like a Beer/Cheeseburger type (lol)

How does he still stay so thin after all of that, I will never understand.

What I'm trying to do is to expand his food varieties a bit. I won't go into the foods he absolutely won't like, but I want to try making other stuff as well (and seeing his reactions to it).

So my question for you all is:

1) What are some of your favorite food/snacks/drinks?

2) How are your taste buds? Are you a Sweet lover? A salty person? A sour person? A Spicy person?

3) Do you consider yourself a picky eater? Which foods don't you like?

4) Also, another thing about him is that he really likes creamy food or something that has a some-what smooth texture. Is this true for you guys as well?

They'll eat anything that looks and smells appetizing.
Sometimes their not willing experiment on foreign foods that are strange to them unless someone forces them.
I suggest making it look appetizing, sometimes foreign food looks like crap, literally.

Most important thing of all is texture, then comes flavor.

I adore chocolate and binge on it.

Cannot stand anything that is semi liquid with coconut flakes inside though I like coconut on things like cakes. Cannot stand coconut cream pie. Don't like rice pudding, either. It's gross.

Favorite texture is light and very, very smooth or flaky pie crust, cookie crumbs. So if you make something like a chocolate mousse pie with Oreo cookie crust, maybe? I would like that.

I also like the flavors of peanut butter and chocolate.

I like sweet and sour, honey-ginger, honey-mustard, teriyaki, bar b que, garlic parmesan. Those are some of my fave flavors.

I like Chinese-American foods like fried rice, anything with chicken and garlic, Sechwan chicken, sesame chicken. I don't really like low mien or chow mein flavoring.

I like all kinds of Tex Mex dishes. I love cilantro flavor and the spices they use. I do not eat avocados.

I do not like ice cream that much except for those Snickers Ice Cream bars. I love anything from Starbucks.

Rice, pasta, macaroni and cheese, pizza. Casseroles are great but watch the texture, please, nothing too funky or lumpy weird.

I like couscous with red salmon, not pink. Pink reminds me of cat food. I love the texture or couscous it's one of my absolute faves. Your bf might like it with a different flavor or ingredient.

I love oatmeal.

I rarely eat beef. The only times are hot dogs from Sonic or Pepperoni on a pizza.

I like to eat out whenever I can. Does your bf like to eat out too often?

Whenever I go to Arby's I order the turkey bacon ranch market fresh sandwich so I do like them sometimes, but not too often. When I eat sandwiches or pizza, it's always with a knife of fork, same with hot dogs. I try to use knife and fork whenever I can. I hate eating with my hands unless it's something like popcorn or Chex Mix.

I have a weakness for coca cola. Im not really into sweets. I like salty, spicy, and sour yummy.

Like Kerosene mentioned above, I find it more appealing that a dish engage all the senses, the more pleasant it is overall the more eager I'll be to try it (if it's new that is). Bit of a culinary connoisseur, I like to try new recipes whenever possible, and to invent new ones in my own kitchen as well. haha But, like my husband, it's when we find those hidden gem restaurants that I get really excited. There are few things I'll refuse to eat, but I have yet to enjoy Brussels sprouts, and I despise eating liver (although it is extremely good for those suffering from myasthenia)! I can't just eat for eating's sake, that just doesn't register with me, I can only eat when I'm hungry... there's a world of difference there. And, I may be a bit picky, there are times when I won't eat seafood, or absolutely can't bring myself to eat red meats, or even salads at times... That's just how I function. X__X My weakness is comfort food, home cooking "the way Nanna does it". (My Moon's ruler is in Sagittarius, 4th house, on S.Node, conjunct Uranus).... Take into account where that Venus is, it is important. ^^

Venus-Uranus doesn't mind the experimenting, Venus in Sagittarius doesn't mind trying new things, foreign things, Venus in the 4th appreciates cuisine that they were either raised on or were local to their homeland, etcetcetc...

I'm generally an ovo-lacto-pescatarian. I very, very rarely eat meat. Throughout my life there have been dozens of times when I felt nothing but negative emotions when eating meat as if I was doing an evil thing; that's one of the reasons I mainly quit.

I impatiently await fully artificial and feasible - not just small
amount of cells taken from a living animal and lab-grown
into lumps of muscle tissue - but healthy alternatives to ingredients which come from animals to become available for the entire planet. 3D printing must be done only with synthetic cells. I hope this is going to happen any time soon, but looking at the world how it has always been, it looks like this ideal I and many people do will inevitably be hijacked. To them, this is just another opportunity to extend the nastiness of the NWO agenda after twisting the regulations which will have to be implemented once mass production commences.
