Is it very typical of them to want to impress you at all cost? Talking highly of themselves, putting other people down a little bit even...Trying to give their all when trying to impress you, saying things like "I'm an ATHLETE, a STRAIGHT A STUDENT, I COOK, AND I LOVE KIDS" or something like that haha... Leos are very emphatic people in general, they love an audience (no matter how big or small). I've met a fair handful of Venus in Leos. Not all of them were showy, some of them were deathly shy actually. Mars in Leo DOES tend to come on strong, and, loud & proud and very obvious. I like that.IP: Logged |

Don't like Leo men at all, was with one for a short term he was beyond annoying, he had not much to be proud of but REALLY was proud of himself.

Yes yes and yes I seem to always find myself attracted to leo mars guys o.o. Anyways, there was a guy who had leo mars who lied about the dumbest things to impress me -__-". Told him about one of my favorite places to get subs and milkshakes, he said he's never been so he'd check it out. Two days later he's all enthusiastic about "going" to the place and how "good" the milkshakes were and I thought it was really cool that he actually checked it out... A while later we're talking and I mention the place being around my future college and he goes " yeah I seen one by my college too when I visited and it made me think of you, I still have to check it out"... Lol He's also made sure to tell me about his gpa and how he got a scholarship for it, and even brought a book to class (which he didn't read) to make me notice since I read alot in the class we had together lol. I generally like leo mars (leo moon myself) but that guy was wayyy over the top lol IP: Logged |

Well, I only have Mars in Leo...Venus in Scorpio is very different from Venus in Leo, so while I am rambunctious and silly and playful, I don't really want to impress others so much as I want to entertain others... IP: Logged |

Well, my fiance is a cancer sun with a leo mars/venus/uranus conjunct in the 5th house. I'm a sun sign leo, ascendant aquarius. My first husband and my dad were leo sun. I think I prefer my leo in a planet as opposed to a sun  IP: Logged |

I'm a leo sun,venus,mercury, saturn. I don't like talking about myself much. But I 'dated' a leo sun male for a very short period, just going out for dinner a few times. He was so full of himself that I suffered indigestion! I think he also had leo in mars, he liked to boast about his sexual escapades with his exes.A major turn off for me.

One of my closest male friends is a Leo Sun/Moon/Merc/Mars. He has a habit of talking himself up on ANY occasion. If somebody has a story, he has one where he did the same thing, but better. HE is his favorite thing to talk about. It gets on my nerves, but I love him dearly so I tolerate it...IP: Logged |

I have a lot of experience with leo influenced people , the majority of my friends and family have leo placements. So I feel I am qualified to answer this question lol.
Honestly? yes, ime all leo influenced people have an inner douchebag. I have seen this side in all the leo people I have met. The funny thing is they aren't
even aware of it and are very
apologetic when you confront them about it. I will never forget the time I took my leo sun friend
on a double date withe me, I'll never make that mistake again lmao. I was dating a cancer girl at the time and we were making plans to go to the movies and she decided it would be fun if we both brought friends for a blind date sort of thing. So I told my leo friend about this and he agreed to go and meet my gf's friend. Anyways me and my friend met the girls at the movie theaterthat Saturday night and he wasted no time in trying to one up me in front of the girls. The first thing he said was "I wasn't gonna come tonight but aquaguy here was really nervous so I'm just here for moral support." That really ****** me off and ruined the whole night for me. Lol I guess I didn't put that the right way. I'm not saying leos are bad people, they are actually nice for the most part. They just have a need to be #1 and be the center of attention and can come across as douchebags. I have Leo Mars, Scorpio Venus too and I agree it makes me more playful than obsessed with looking good to others.  the guy I mentioned earlier in this topic was a Gemini sun lol! (He has an aries moon taurus venus also)
I do agree that leo placements can show differently based off of other placements in the chart. The guy I'm talking to now has the same exact placements as you I think o.o lol. He's a sag sun, virgo moon, scorpio mercury/venus and leo mars and he's really not "in your face" showy at all.

People with Leo placements are not "douchebags", there are the same amount of db's in every sign... Leo's are just more up front and guileless with the db behavior. A Scorpio might be lying and thinking only of himself but he would hide it better and it would take you longer to find out, if you ever did. A Leo is so upfront that he fails at lying and you see it right away. It's nice. You waste less time figuring if he's a creep. It doesn't mean Leos are creeps, just that 5 out 10 ten guys of ANY sign could be considered creeps, but Leo proudly wears a t-shirt that says either Creep or Non-Creep, when all other signs wear the Non-Creep t-shirt regardless of if the shirt of choice is accurate to their character. lol That being said... I was acquainted with a Leo D.B. who lived off of his grandparents and bullied his gma after his gpa died (for money) because he NEVER worked (though he had to have the "best" and most expensive brands of everything) and I heard him talk about all of expensive cars he planned to own and restore (in detail of all the specific rims and tires and engine parts etc) more often than any other topic. It was hard not to say something (I may have said something at one point. ha). He was a joke... but upfront about his outrageousness at any rate. Wore the D.B. t-shirt with the pride of any Lion.
