... has irreparable consequences... What would indicate this dynamic in synastry?
I'll give some examples:
- Girl dates Guy. They're in love, but Girl feels Guy is not involved enough. Girl tells Guy she will leave him unless he changes. Guy is angry at the time and calls her bluff, e.g. "Ok.. if you want to leave, leave!". Girl does in fact leave him for good & moves to a different country. Guy tries to get back in contact but can't find her. They never see each other again. - Child tells Parent he's had enough and he's running away from home. He goes to his room, packs his teddy and walks out the door. Parent calls his bluff - since Child had made empty threats before. Parent is sure Child would walk up to the street corner and come back. Child actually leaves and disappears for good. IP: Logged |

i see it as a leo or capricorn thing. leo because of pride and perhaps the inability to go back on something or chase someone even if they want to, and pretty much the same for capricorn - allowing themselves to be backed into a corner and then being too stubborn to not follow through. i'd lean towards very proud/stubborn signs doing this since they would also be strong enough signs to know they can make it aloneIP: Logged |

Uranus would be involved for the sudden drastic change and Leo for the ego/drama, so I'm thinking an opposition between Aquarius and Leo. I've got planets in both and I can see myself doing exactly this sort of thing. It's not a bluff if you do it and there's no turning back. My Sun in Aquarius is opposed to my Leo Moon. My Mercury in Aquarius is opposed to my Uranus in Leo. Probably some squares in synastry from Taurus or Scorpio would set me off. IP: Logged |

saggitarius placements afflicted ic/4th house horrid aspects to mars and uranus ? progressions and transits possibly could contribute to a sudden moveIP: Logged |

I think Pluto in synastry.Pluto would definitely call a bluff.Her/child's personal planets aspecting his/mothers Pluto. I'm in both these situations. In a love relationship the obsession wears off and you get tired of feeling like you care more. In a parent/child relationship Pluto constantly trying to hold you back is frustrating. I plan on leaving and rarely keeping contact with my family. It sounds bad but sometimes you have to cut people out of your life. IP: Logged |

My guess a chart with a lot of mutability...water. These are vulnerable and more apt to feel 'used' or be manipulated and taken advantage of in some way.more about transits -- mars Guessing.... prominent Sag Aries IC strong Uranus, Aquarian Sedna, Eris, Ceres transits by Vesta, Industria IP: Logged |

I've done this before and am planning to do it again if my partner doesn't change. I've sag/9h, capricorn/saturn/10h, aquarius/uranus/11hIP: Logged |

I've done it before. The person thought I was bluffing. Thing is I never bluff,I never make empty threats.I never say things I don't mean actually not even in anger. If am telling you : ''that's it,I won't speak to you again'' it means I won't speak to you again.Or if I say ''that's it, we are done'' it means we are done. Simple. I don't think it depends on the synastry, I think the natal chart of the person is what is most pertinent. my chart: 49.1% fixed 33.3% cardinal 17.5% mutable Aries IC, uranus dominant. IP: Logged |

Not the Leo I know..I agree about Capricorn, or Saturn strongly aspected quote: Originally posted by starmoon: i see it as a leo or capricorn thing. leo because of pride and perhaps the inability to go back on something or chase someone even if they want to, and pretty much the same for capricorn - allowing themselves to be backed into a corner and then being too stubborn to not follow through. i'd lean towards very proud/stubborn signs doing this since they would also be strong enough signs to know they can make it alone

I'm Aqua sun / Taurus moon and I usually mean what I say and say what I mean. If I were to tell a man 'get out, it's over', I would totally mean it. My sister is Gemini but she never says what she means when it comes to menIP: Logged |
