im excited! it happens 25th june i think.my jupiter is in capricorn and when jupiter went into capricorn sooo many good things happened for me so i imagine it will be the same with jupiter in cancer? only a different type of luck- when jupiter was in capricorn i had good financial luck whereas i am hoping jupiter in cancer will more lead to helping me settle roots and what not IP: Logged |

Well the transiting planet will "behave" and affect you or your surroundings differently depending on which house it transits.

Next week, Jupiter will be conjunct my Eleventh House cusp and that day, I'm invited to my friend's bday party! She'll be 19 and omg yes dranks house party fun. I haven't connected with that social group for a long time. It's a good sign indeed. IP: Logged |

I think Jupiter is highly overrated. Yes, it CAN bring "luck", but it can also bring overconfidence, over eating, over spending, talking too much, etc. What it overdoes now can come back to haunt you later. Where it operates for you depends more on house rather than sign. When it moves to Cancer it will still be transiting my 9th house until it hits about 20 degrees and then it will enter my 10th house. But my Mars is at 0 degrees Cancer so I'll probably be very energetic (or other manifestation of Mars) for a while. If I use that energy well, it could manifest as "luck" later (like using the energy to make repairs around the house and then be "lucky" when a storm hits and nothing on my property gets damaged). Or I could just have a lot more arguements and later regret the impact of that on my relationships. Jupiter isn't magic. It's still all about the choices you make. IP: Logged |

i have jupiter in cancer also last 10 years have been DOOM-PLAGUe-full of SORROW life i wait just for something better because i am tired... @Jkitty : contrary to you i will say Jupiter is magic . the things you said about over-confidence, over-eating, over-blabla is for bad jupiter aspects not the good ones. i have a kickass jupiter (trine mercury trine mars trine uranus) and everytime jupiter made a good transit i always have something good coming from nowhere, when i was almost collapsing, there is always an unexpected event or helping hand that save me from darkness. and this amazed me, cannot find the words to explain. All tha bad stuff i faced last years is due to people who was jealous of me and did mean things to me very cynical, perfidious, and sly. They put such tremendous efforts to know what is really important to me, worming myself, my intimacy in order to destroy me later. But i have mars square neptune so i have to deal with betrayals and the hardest ones, the ones who shatter you in a way you re down for ever...i didn't know how people could go so far in self-denying to kill you. iago like people. I so need to learn more about transits I have gemini on the cusp of my 4th house but shortly after it changes to cancer and cancer rules my 5th house. I have mars in cancer at the end of H4. I wonder how that will play out. Maybe it means I'll finally date again :P IP: Logged |

@ Visions: I'm sorry about whatever heartache it is that you've experienced. Iago is a truely evil character. He used Othello's weaknesses (jealousy and possesiveness) against him to cause him to murder an innocent woman and then destroy himself. (Desmond Richardson rocks in the San Francisco Ballet's DVD of this story and Parrish Maynard does an amazing job as Iago ) I agree about the bad aspects of transiting Jupiter versus the good aspects of transiting Jupiter. My main point was that just because it is entering a particular sign doesn't necessarily imply that the aspects it will make to an individual chart will be invariably good. For example, in my chart, Jupiter will be trine my Mercury, square my Venus and conjunct my Mars, which is my DSC ruler, all within a few days of entering Cancer. It can bring a mixed bag by transit regardless of how my Jupiter is aspected in my natal chart. It's up to me to choose how I will make use of whatever opportunities/temptations present. IP: Logged |
