Hi! Just curious to get some feedback on this synastry chart. It's not involving me this time, but a relative who's just started a relationship with a Scorpio. They say they're happy, but seems like the Scorpio is the one pulling the strings and they're just going along with it. Can anyone help explain this to me? Since having dated a Gemini, I've become intrigued with the whole Scorpio/Gemini pairing! Thanks for any input!

Your relative may be a solar Scorpio, but she has a lot of fire in her chart and those placements are responding to his Mars and Saturn in Leo as well as his Gemini placements. His chart ruler is conjunct her Venus, too. With her Saturn on his Moon, I don't think you need to concern yourself about him taking her seriously. Is that the correct birthtime for your relative, exactly midnight? If it is, then you've also got the ruler of her DSC opposing the ruler of his DSC.

Thanks for your response. No, unfortunately I don't know the Scorpio's time of birth, just the Gemini's. Can you explain the DSC aspect - is this more of a negative aspect? He doesn't take her seriously as in the Gemini isn't that invested in the Scorpio? I guess I can explain a little further, it just seems she, the Scorpio is much more invested in this than he, the Gemini, is. Almost like an obsession if you will.

Without a birthtime for her, you don't know what her DSC ruler would be, so forget about that, but it's not a negative thing. She probably does idealize him because of the contacts to his Neptune, which is his chart ruler. Also, you're seeing the relationship from the outside and aren't witness to their private moments. He could well seem less involved in public, but that's not necessarily the way he is when he's alone with her. With that said, IF she's more invested than he is, I'd say that's probably true of most women in relationships
