Im not sure if this is a known fact. As far as i could tell i thought the websites just said that the animals were similar to the sign. But i didnt know that they acrually are the same thing. I only know this because of my own observation of being born on the cusp of the new year. I can feel my animal progress to another animal sign and i can tell im pretty sure its the same as the zodiac signs. Cool huh?

Now the next question is, are the 12 houses the exact same as the 12 zodiac signs? Or are they just similar? If they are the same as the 12 signs, what does this say about the 12 signs around circular areas?

Do you mean that like, Rat being the first sign in the Chinese zodiac is equivalent to Aries, the first sign in Astrology? Or Ox (#2) = Taurus, Snake (#6) = Virgo, and so on...?

Actually no to what you asked. The sign that comes "first is different. But on some sites there is an "assoxiated sun sign" with each animal. The rat is sagittarious, the ox is capricorn, aquarius is tiger, and so on. So its in the same order. Anyway these sites say its associated. Whatever that means. But I believe the each of the animals actually are the exact same energys as the western zodiac signs. Right now it's year of the snake and with my theory this is the same thing as being year of Taurus because I believe they are the same.

My month is actually a Sheep. My year is Dragon. My time is Dragon as well.

So I guess it fits.

One time I was awaiting to see if i would feel different from the chinese new year when it became a new animal. I had forgotten about the new year at the time it happened and i felt a bit different, more introverted and dark and planning like a snake, and then the next day i found out that that night was either chinese new year or the day after chinese new year.

I have MANY Aries traits because I also have my Mars conjunct my Asc. And Mars sextile Uranus which seems to give people some "feisty" traits

Ok I see. Yeah like i said i dont have personal proof for the month and day to have a different animal. But i was born on the cusp of horse and sheep and I can feel the animal shifting into sheep. All i can say is in horse which would be horse i was more extroverted and more of a positive sign in the way that i would go out and get what i want rather than wait for it. I was more interested in communicating and focusing on people. Now after its shifting into sheep which would be cancer i feel much more emotional, appreciative of beauty in my environment, soft, waiting for what i want, reliant on others for compliments, and wanting peacefulness. As a horse i wanted adventure now i want peacefulness. So yeah that is what i noticed so i personally believe that the chinese animals are infact the exact same as the 12 signs. Either that or im delusional
