Kerosene: Also I stay away with complementary colors..
It seems like I'm trying too hard, you know?

I think complementary colours are in general pretty hard to pull off. I never mix my blue clothing and my red clothing, aside from maybe jeans, but even then, a little sparingly. But I do have this electric blue hoodie though that I sometimes pair with my red converse - for when I feel like being a kid! And sometimes, when I'm feeling edgy and chic, I dress all in black with like, the only colour being myself and the grey metal of my belt buckle.

Kerosene, post a pic or two! I wanna see an example of your colourful wardrobe.

I think I only wore yellow shoes and black jeans ONCE and it bothered me the whole day.

Not complementary but I had black and yellow rap stuck in my head..

haha! That song! I don't like yellow much for the winter time though. Maybe it has something to do with...winter=snow+yellow=I just p!ssed on winter fashion???

I notice I am very drawn to yellow this time of year. I bought yellow sweat pant shorts recently. Yeah sometimes black and yellow reminds me of bees, and I'm not into bees like that. But I will wear black and yellow together sometimes. Never owned yellow shoes. COOL!

What do you think, then, of Alexander McQueen for S/S 2013?

I get compliments quite often as well, and sometimes i get people who say that I dress very sexy.

Libra sun Scorpio ASC and Venus. I also have my Venus in the first house.

Looks like Alexander McQueen is inspired too.
Yeah why do the classic Spanish women wear those black veils? Is it an elegant way to protect their head from the sun? I think the classic Spanish women look beautiful and pull it off though.

(hard to find a pic that's not a costume!)

But yes the McQueen veil hats kinda look like they would keep the bees out of my face, but then I notice how big the holes are. jaja

I like the shoes on the middle one, also the sheer material would be nice for lingerie.

You should dress more feminine you can get away with it.

I have to say girls are lucky that they get to wear such cute clothes... that are so cheap compared to mens clothes.
Sometimes I'm so bored by mens clothes too.
All they have are flannel shirts in the mens section....

I wish it was acceptable to dress like this... http://c590298.r98.cf2.rackcdn.com/XEC3_001.JPG
Than I would wear this little number out on the town http://world4.eu/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/medieval-clothing-719.jpg

I would wear this on a date, something casual yet cute.
I don't want to intimidate them with my glamor puss persona. http://www.kipar.org/period-galleries/engravings/1670/officier_1675.jpg

I would look sooo glamorous... sigh..
I live in the wrong century.
I'm actually really depressed right now..

oh yeah I would definitely love to dress fancy like Marie Antoinette at some point in my life.

What you really need is a corset and a ten inch waist, thirty six inch bust.

Blah hate to be a wet blanket but I have a Leo Sun sextile a Moon in Libra (which is also conjunct a Jupiter in Libra) and Venus trine Ascendant but I'm not exactly what one would call fashionable. :/ When I was younger I had a great eye for aesthetics and was super creative but over time that...went away. lol I also have Saturn conjunct ascendant (with neptune transiting first house) so I guess that's what's ruining everything *shrug*

but i'm really enjoying this thread you guys seem super stylish.

I think it's because Uranus is dominant in my chart, I haven't been super fashionable as far as what's in style but I am super good at creating my OWN style and if others don't like it, not my concern. I try to be original as I can. It's the most important thing. Don't know if that's considered "fashionable."

People who are stylish usually go for designer and I don't care about all that. I just want my clothing to stand out.

Me too.....
I have the hour glass cut going on too, I use to think it was because I was skinny until I noticed other skinny guys had straight board like bodies.

Our measurements are similar actually..

I have 28 inch waist too.

Fashion and style aren't the same thing though. If you've constantly had people compliment you in the way you style yourself, then it's safe to say you've got style. no?

Style>fashion

I think of Latin fashion as Pluto and Mars perhaps because of the red and black color scheme.

Yes I've enjoyed wearing black and red together for a while! It does make me feel underworldy in a good way. haha

I am always drawn to lace fabrics.

I also loved the Victorian era of fashion, so elegant and romantic looking.

I'm guessing this is my Venus Pisces influence.

I'm also drawn to snakeskin.

With chinese astrology snake is my "secret animal" it's like your rising sign I believe. I like what snakes stand for.
