perhaps because of the placement of your moon/venus/mars in all water/sensitive planets, and your mercury (communication) opposite your mars (action). so you might be going about things - action - without telling people your plans. water planets tend to be less forthcoming (verbally) and go about their lives more quietly than air/fire signs. for example, sometimes they won't tell people what they have been working on until it's finished. so, perhaps people are 'surprised' when you tell them something because you're not open about stuff from the start - that would come across as 'sneaky' to someone who doesn't operate the same way

I've been told I'm mysterious mostly because I'm not very talkative. Maybe if people knew what I was thinking all the time, they wouldn't see me as sneaky.

Yeah people tend to think silent types are hiding something, also evasive types. I tend to like being on my own, I am a creative/writer type and these things are best enjoyed by myself, so I talk to people a few minutes, then dart back into my creative mode and they think I am trying to hide something from them because I am not as social as they think I should be but really I am completely absorbed and obsessed with my own imagination/creativity for the most part. I live there and it's a major part of my life and so let them think what they want. I find comfort here I could never experience talking to them but that's just me.

Not sure actually! It's just a vibe a get from them...perhaps I am the same with my cancer stellium? It just feels as they are always plotting and scheming.

I am also not the biggest fan of Cancer Mars for personal reasons. My Dad has it and I have dated 2 guys with it, ALL very passive aggressive humans.
