We all know someone like this –the person who can’t help themselves and loves to touch others.
- Hugging
- Tickling
- Pocking
- Picking you up in the air (especially true for men)
- Letting you sit on their lap etc.
However my question isn’t about what makes these people tick. My question is about the people that receive the psychical contact. Is there something in a person’s chart that could make them seem touchable and the opposite – make them look unapproachable? I’ve seen this with people in their teens and in their twenties. Men who are psychical flirts love to fiddle with some of their female friends and don’t dare touch others. Keep in mind I’m not talking about attraction, just playfulness. Some women give off the impression of being welcoming and others are intimidating. Personal example: I’m one of the intimidating ones. Male friends and guys who are interested are always very cautious and reserved around me. On the good side it’s positive because it means I command some kind of authority but on the other hand it’s unpleasant always being the wet towel. It’s like they’re walking on eggshells around me. Sometimes I want to have fun and be playful too but I have a restricting energy around me. A friend of mine (two actually) have the exact opposite effect. They always seem to attract psychical contact and men rarely have inhibitions around them. inb4 Saturn

for me, it is always aqua influenced men.(sun, moon & mars) they are always very touchy/playful/physical with me. and i dont mean like they give it time and then, usually right off the bat. i was actually thinking of this recently as to why and i think it is because my 4th house is aqua. maybe if the person on the receiving end is activating something for the other to be playful/physical. then again, i dunno, some people also just like attention that way. usually, i think anybody would think 20 times before they cross any boundries with me. Moon/ Venus ppl are very sweet, very pleasant, one just want to squeeze them and be their friend.Neptunian ppl also look fragile and delicate and other ppl may feel like giving them a hug and protect them. IP: Logged |

UNTOUCHABLE/INTIMIDATING PEOPLE: I feel Saturn is what can make people seem harsh, colder, more rigid, less fun and approachable. Think about it this way... what's easier to deal with, a bright beautiful sun [Leo influenced people] or a hard mountain blocking the sun [Cap/Saturn people]. Saturn influenced people can just seem challenging! It's not as easy to break down those walls. I'm one of them and people can seem to sense I don't like hugs. I like handshakes. Are you Saturnine too, may I ask?Having harsh Saturn-ASC aspects, harsh Moon-ASC aspects [emotionally unapproachable/closed off/cold] and Saturn in the 5th could make one less inclined to receive playful touches and flirtations. That depends on synastry as well imoI have Capricorn influence and I can seem untouchable - some people would literally be scared of touching me at all.. which I'm very happy about lol But with other people I intentionally act approachable because I want them to approach me, because I like them. It also depends on how confident and guilt-free the one doing the touching is... A person could easily hug someone they see as a sister/brother for example... but if they are sexually attracted they might be more apprehensive.. if they are shy. Some guys want to be extra proper as well (not many, but they are out there!)... and they think that by hugging/touching etc a girl they're attracted to - it's kind of like they have a double agenda and they're using her to 'get off'... so they might intentionally avoid doing that (unless they are sure they want to pursue her). Also, if a woman is considered typically attractive by social standards.. lets say - she could be a supermodel.. height-wise, body-wise etc... then it's likely a great majority of men would be intimidated and not start randomly getting physical, hugging her etc...
It's just not something "you do" -- It's like a social convention. They leave those girls for the extra confident alpha-type men. IP: Logged |

I'm Saturnian and people almost never approach me/touch me. But I love hugs/touching, I'm very physical - Moon sextile Venus (supposedly, Moon/Venus people are touchy-feely). So I'm the one who has to initiate contact, literally. But I think it has a lot to do with synastry.
I mean if I like someone, obviously I'll want to touch them more than someone I don't particularly appreciate. In my experience, 1st / 5th house synastry is very "physical".

One of the touchable friends I spoke of is actually the most Capricorn person I know. She has a MASSIVE Capricorn stellum in the 8th House – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars (only this one is in the 7th), Uranus and Neptune. She is a Cancer Ascendant. She is always very radiant and sunny. She doesn’t have Capricorn’s doom and gloom at all. There is one guy in particular that gets a little *too* friendly with her. I was thinking about this literally the other day as the person who's always being touched. I am a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon, Pisces rising w/ Mars in Aries in the first house. People (Strangers, family, men, women anyone really) love to tickle, poke, rub, lean on, hit, and just plain old touch me and I can't imagine why. For example, my older brother will often times poke me in the shoulder or chest when he sees me and he does this daily. Maybe seven or eight times a day. i figure he's showing he cares about me in his own weird way. As for total strangers touching me for seemingly no reason at all...I'm clueless.IP: Logged |
