Your situation is a little similar but not the same as hers. She also has a Scorpio moon and the Venus/Pluto square. She is proud of her daughter, just had difficulty sharing at first because she is not used to it at all. You have one sister, right? She doesn't have one so she didn't grow up with the experience of sharing the spotlight. It might have been a bit easier if her daughter wasn't so much like her because her family replaced her a bit. I admit they did do that, some. I empathize with her, just find it strange that of all people to have a child so much like themselves, it's her. I don't know anyone who has a child who looks exactly like them in this way. Sure, they resemble some, but not like a clone most the time.

Her other two children do not resemble her nearly as much. This one girl seemed to inherit everything from her and she even lived with her grandparents a while, like their second daughter. It makes me wonder if this is some kind of karmic lesson for the soul?

Certain situations have a karmic feel to me, like they exist so the soul can learn new ways to experience life and become more adaptable, maybe?

Definitely!

Whatever creates discomfort/pain/sadness that requires a readjustment or adaptation is karmic in nature. Nothing happens by coincidence,there must BE a reason right?

Madonna has Lilith close to her North Node! In her second house, no less! So does this mean that a huge purpose of her life is to be a rebellious lady!!?? And make money at it? She has Venus in the sixth house and Saturn in the 10th. She was destined for success.

Scratch that! South node conjunct Lilith! Silly eyes! So she was a wild woman in the past, which goes along with my theory that people with Lilith conjunct south node embody that rebellious Lilith energy! woo!
