Richard Ramirez was a serial killer in the early 80's in Los Angeles..

He would break into houses in the middle of the night, rape and murder who ever was one.. I mostly killed couples.
Which is why he was dubbed the night stalker.
I remember even an elderly couple..

I remember the terror in the air, I remember being afraid to go to sleep or walk home... ( I was a kid)
This story hits home with me because its the only well known serial killer from my time/era/location.
His attacks were brutal, and his victims suffered before dying.
He did horrible things to people... Unspeakable things.
Most (not trying to generalize) serial killers are white men between 25-35 .

He started his killing spree at the age if 22, is identity was discovered in Northern California for some stolen goods...
His picture was posted all over Los Angeles, in the mean time he was on a bus traveling back to LA from I think Texas.
He saw himself on tv, and tried to run and hide, but the public spotted him, and beat him and held him until the cops came..
He is one of the "few" Hispanic serial killers ( killing random people, for basically no reason, just to kill)
During his trail, he would praise satan. He was openly a satan worshiper.

On a twist of fate, one of his jurors was murdered by her bf, during the trail.

He died today in a hospital, he was in a California prison San Quentin .
He was on death roll, but died of natural causes, liver failure.

Wow I can't believe he died. I saw a pic of him he did look sick, like he had a chronic illness.

Talk about someone who is totally and utterly misguided he is prime example of a brainwashed, twisted thinker if you ever watch an interview with him. He is completely oblivious to how messed up his thinking process is.

I was about 12 or 13..

His spree was spread out all over la county... A few if his murders were near me..
I remember crying in bed, thinking he was coming out to get me..

One day I was at a friends house, I went home, but was locked out... My mom went t the store.
I remember running as fast as I could back to my friends house hysterically crying...

The fear was intense..

One thing that IS kinda scary about the Night Stalker dying is he is on the other side now :S

That's why I always make sure I have a pet dog. I read in a book about him he never went near any house that had a barking dog, he used the element of surprise in all his attacks.

He also committed some murders in San Fran, I read.

I think of it differently..

His soul now has to truly face his crimes and victims.
His punishment will continue in the after life.

Yes later he was linked to rapes, murder in SFO, but was never tried, because he was already on death row..
What more could they do..

That his soul has to face judgement from (higher power)
And his victims ( the ones he killed)

I read that he was being lynched and Ramiriz broke away from them and begged the cop to save him, which he did. I don't know how accurate that was as I'm sure "true crime" authors like to cater to their readers so their readers will buy more. But if true I thought it a pity he wasn't killed then.

And there's a specific mental illness (can't recall the name offhand) for women who find men like him sexy. Though given the popularity of the Twilight series I think a great many women have a dash of that mental illness. (That said, I've seen plenty of guys talk on the net on how sexy bad ass women are, like when the space case River Tam wiped out a bunch of reavers in Serenity there were scores of men talking how they'd love to MARRY a woman like that, and they were talking also on how awesome she was for her martial skills, so maybe it's not a gynocentric mental illness. Plenty of male predators also manage to get a woman to help him with his crimes against other women, too, and in one extreme case a husband-wife serial killer even tried to bring their teen daughter in on the fun. Examples, and that's just of the serial killers.)

I remember when he was captured, I was young so my memory may be off.. But his capture was on the news.

He ran through someone's yard, that person saw him and yelled that's him the night stalker...

The men on that street grabbed baseball bats and gave chase.
The public was outraged, and wasn't going to let him get away.
I think 10 or so men caught him, beat him, and held him until the police came...
I don't doubt he was begging to be saved...
Who wouldn't with 10 men with baseball bats on top of you.

He was the definition of evil IMO. He used to make his victims swear on satan....he made them say that.

Anyway, it looks like he may have died from either a stroke or lung issues bc of his 8th rulers etc.

Have they said how he died?
