Topic: need life advice, too obsessed with astrology, cant leave the house...

Hi. Ive been researching asttology for 3 years. Its all i care about. Oh reading those paragraphs on my planets, making me sound so cool and intense and interesting. Maybe ive become reliant on this for my entertainment? What other interestinf things in the world is there than astrology?IP: Logged |

I know it's soooo much fun, isn't it? You are Aquarius sun, aren't you? I have an eleventh house sun sometimes. Maybe it's just irresistible to us and part of the Aquarius/eleventh house experience? I like it, though, have no mixed feelings about it.

yeah i have sun in aquarius. Its possible that we like it more because of that. Or my scorpio moon. I think anyone whos interested in secrets of the universe would find astrology interesting. But I want to ask you by what you mean by your sun is sometimes in the 11th house? Does it progress back and forth between 2 houses?IP: Logged |

It depends on which house system the chart has. Although the cardinal points stay the same, cusps of 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, the other cusps do not so sometiimes the sun is in eleven, other times twelve. Officially it is conjunct twelve, I think. I have an eighth house moon, and you have Scorpio? Mine is in the house of Scorpio! IP: Logged |

Haha thats interesting. I find the house system on cafeastrology.com to be pretty accurate. And are you talking about yoyr natal or progressed current chart? Becsuse in my natal chart my sun was in the first house, but now that my ascendent has progressed to pisces my sun is in the 12th house. And moon is in the 9th.IP: Logged |

And that's how astrology can be 'dangerous'. It's sad that you let astrology rule your life. Astrology is a tool for better understanding yourself, others & also for future predictions. But please don't let transits dictate what your future might be. Like everything in life you have to apply MODERATION. Alcohol is good...when you apply moderation. Same goes for astrology. Too much of something is bad. You ask what else is interesting in life? Plenty!!! The world is a big place, so much to explore. Don't become dependent on astrology. Not progressed, just regular. I go to astro.com and check out the extended chart selection and then choose different house systems for the natal chart and see what which one does. In the progressed chart, it is totally in house twelve but it doesn't matter as much because I have soooooo many planets in house eleven, including both benefics and Pluto. I have a grand Pstellium in that house. Venus even conjuncts Pluto, lol.

Ok well first, i dont care about transits and horoscopes and never have. Second im fatalistic for a number of reasons astrology is just one small reason. Third, its too hard to meet ppl. I rarely find anyone im interested in. And im a frugal hippie who believes my money should be spent on charitable causes and not unnessecary enjoyment. So that reduces a lot of my "exploration" optionsIP: Logged |

So you have several in eleven as well. Maybe this has got something to do with the interest in astrology? It's due to all the progressed planets in eleven. I also have Venus, Jupiter, and those two are the feel good planets so I feel pretty good studying astrology. Maybe with Neptune, you experience similar? Oh i was interested in astrology more a few years ago. Now its all i have to talk about so i linger here. What my stellium in the 11th house does for me is much more interesting. It makes me really focus on animals and ppl. I feel like i communicate with bugs, i always wave at birds an make sounds and watch their reactions, i am aware of how aware they are of me. Basically it makes me take an interest in all creatures like they are my friendsIP: Logged |

That's cool. Mine just makes me focus on astrology. Maybe it's the shy and reclusive P twelfth house sun that puts a damper on things. I don't really feel totally social with my Pstellium but remain fascinated by Aquarian themes and admire altruism in others. I also am fascinated by revolution and cults.

I had lots of pets when i was 0-4. then my mom passed and my dad never got another pet. but we had rabbits, birds, cats, dogs, gerbils, tons! i want a pet some day. oh and also about your mer conjunct jupiter.. mines opposite jupiter IP: Logged |
