I was thinking about this Leo girl I work with whom I'm on the fence about. I don't dislike her but something makes me want to keep myself at arm's length. There's this group of construction workers who are regulars at our job and she's buddy-buddy with them. Me and them are kind of warming up to each other but they like her more and it just irritates me. I am normally not a jealous person despite people's opinions of Aries, but this gets under my skin a little bit. I want to be included is all and I don't feel it. Plus I am worried she secretly gloats at this or somehow knows this is how I'm feeling and wants to keep it that way. It's just competitiveness but I notice it burning hotter than normal is all and wondered if Taurus' gets this way with Capricorns or Virgos, etc. IP: Logged |

Nah, I've been perfectly fine with every other water sign I've come into contact with!  Scorpios are sometimes hit and miss though.IP: Logged |

Ohh. I can see what you mean, then.It's happened to me with my fellow Water sign girls. Haha, yep. It's like there's competition; but not with all of them.. only a few.

Like the Capricorn and the Taurus? How do they stack up to Virgo? Capricorn I consider luckiest because they naturally take charge in the earth element. Whenever I am around sun Capricorns, they want to take charge of me and the situation and can get sorta bossy about things but it's just because they are Cardinal air and they are fulfilling their destinies. Taurus earth seems kinda wrapped up in itself, just wants comfort, beauty or musical instruments. They like being surrounded by their favorite things. They don't really boss or try to dominate a situation with sun Virgos, that I've noticed, but they can get competitive about friendships and guys, you know? Like, in a social situation with sun Virgo, they want to be the one who people like more so they will manipulate the situation in their favor. I notice this some with fixed signs. They say air signs are the most social. I notice fixed signs of each element want to be the most liked and will manipulate the conversation or situation in their favor, sometimes.IP: Logged |

Mmmm yes but no. I think you're looking at it too objectively. Capricorns want to boss you around, but are you a Taurus or a Virgo or another Capricorn at all? Do you find yourself competing with them in a mutual area (whether that be social or at work or whatever?) but don't react the same when working with a Libra, etc. Maybe I misunderstood what you said, if so just correct me. Yeah, (I don't remember her chart but I think she has Virgo in there, and Scorpio or Virgo, Cancer AND Scorpio), I was thinking of my Moon / Pluto too. I had no idea it was so pronounced all this time other than what I feel. My mom says I'm too detached and selfish...seems like a symptom of Moon / Pluto. IP: Logged |

I am a Virgo sun and I compete with other earth suns at home and in life. I do get the "one upmanship" with them more than I do other signs. The sun signs I get along the best with are mutables, then Leo, then Taurus, maybe. It's so strange, my sun is square or opposite other mutable suns yet I do best with them, feel less antagonistic or antagonized. They are so much more relaxed and easy going than other suns. The most tense are the Cardinal signs. Fixed are somewhere in the middle. I do notice a level of competition with Taurus (fixed earth) in social circles. It's worse than with Capricorn. I usually end up getting along well with Cap things start off rocky sometimes.

I have a virgo & pisces sisters.
I'm a gemini.My virgo sister has gem placements and my pisces sister has a lot of sag placements. We're all highly mutable. We just mesh well.

If your sister is a Virgo Sun and you're a Gemini sun then you'd obviously mesh better because you're both Mercurial, however your both different elements. So not the same thing really.IP: Logged |

short answer: no.5h Cap Sun/9h Tau Moon/Virgo ASC Virgos - you're all ffffff-g crazy and you're absolutely right, nobody understands you! but I luv yas anyway. (coo coo cachoo)  Tauros - you all drive me cuffin futs when you get all gooey over things (I don't get it, sentimental hogwash *nosepinch*), but they're a bloody riot when they're angry or hyped up over somethin~ uh, Cap.... - (peas and carrots) peas fall in my 4th house, carrots in my 5th. lmao ("we are family, I got all my Cappies with me!") houses and ruler/aspects still mean more here~ just sayin'... ;<.< (moon vs saturn; ven in sag 4h asp natural ruler of 11h ruled by tauro moon 9h naturally, sag = friendship = family wheel; strong merc - rather strong earth in common over all...) so there ya go~ no. with aries males or leo males i am super competitive...thats just the nature of the beast and my mars in the 5th house doesnt help either.
i feel incomplete if i am not either top dog or in the contender for top dog in whatever i do. ------------------

I almost never interact with my Virgo's siblings. Don't know many ( if any) Taurus and Capricorns around me and I don't really find them interesting to mingle with. Dunno if I'd be jealous of them.

my sister she is a gemini and she is so witty and clever, my mom having a gem asc and they get along really great
