My brother let's call him K, Now in his chart he is a leo, with a cancer moon (one of my favorite moons) and he has mars, venus and vortex all in cancer. Lots of water signs! more than me, with pluto in the 1st house Sagittarius conjunct his ascendent by 4 degrees. as you can see, he will probably be a kind of an intense person astrologically speaking, but the question is why? His life is fairly normal, he was never abused, he grew up with some friends from his school he still talks to online and he is a typical gamer kid. His dad practically abandoned him =(, could this be a reason why he might have his 8th house moon, could it be because i had a troubled child hood and troubled life and it sort of rubbed off on him, could it be because of my life that would influence his? because i can not figure out why he would have his moon (childhood-18) in his 8th house. In my life i been exposed to sexual abuse and i too have a moon in the 8th house, except mine is in virgo, because i always felt like i had to be perfect and i kept many secrets in my Life. What do you guys think? I would like honest answers please.IP: Logged |

Just because its in your chart doesn't always mean that it will show up in your personality or life. It's more like those aspects are there and you can either utilize them or not. They're like the potential that's there for something but it might not happen. And it's not your "fault" for anything bad in his chart. He seems pretty normal/happy the way you described him aside from the father thing And i'm sorry to hear you've had troubles in your life like that. Also you can see that you and your brother both have that same aspect yet it's affected you guys differently. I don't think the aspects really matter. Anything goes. Things happen regardless of astrology. IP: Logged |

The Moon in a man's chart describes his mother and further points to the women more likely to show up in his life.So in his case, he may attract women who are very Plutonian and who'll project their psychological "bs" on him, forcing them to work through past traumas. He may be very sensitive and pick up on emotional vibes around him.

Eighth house moon does not always mean sexual abuse though it can. It's more of what he does with his life, what he needs to feel secure in his life, emotionally. In the eighth house, he needs to be doing eighth house things to feel secure. He's the type that probably likes to go to his friend's houses and have them share food with him, stuff like that, because eighth house is the house of others people's resources. So, eighth house is about sharing with others and with the moon there, he needs this type of situation to feel really secure about himself. Emotionally, he is at his best when he is intimate and sharing with others in his life. It's a very personal house. And, he also might like psychology, true crime, science. He could even be kinda morbid or fascinated by what others find grotesque. This is all part of the eighth house. He might even have an interest in what happens to the soul after someone dies since eighth house rules death. There's also medical stuff here, like surgery. This house rules transformations of all kinds. He could find emotional fulfillment helping people transform some part of their lives, getting them to let go of self destructive habits or patterns. So you see, eighth house is far broader than just abuse. Oh, and I have an eighth house moon, too IP: Logged | |
