I kinda laughed because Libra is the scales and you asked what its viewpoint on life is, and a pair of scales is definitely an "it." I have Libra ascendant, not sure what its viewpoint is. I do know it's curious, gets bored easily, likes interesting subjects. I also have Mercury closely conjunct ascendant so I think like a Libra. I have a hard time making up my mind and focusing on one thing. I like to look at stuff from different angles,come up with new ideas, brain storm and ramble. IP: Logged |

Well by viewpoint I was talking about how everyone says your asc is how you approach life. And yea i guess to be balanced or whatever. But i want something beyond that or more about what balanced means. I'm curious and everything you said too even though my mercury is nowhere near my libra asc. And i would've never thought to attribute that to my libra asc either! haha. I feel like my understanding of a libra asc is so vague; how is it even affecting me? That sort of thing.IP: Logged |

LOL an it i think i just got it :P I'm a little slow with jokes and sarcasm Im also a cap btw. I think my sun is in an out of sign trine with my asc.
Umm i'm always feeling opposite. I want something but at the same time i don't. Things like that. I'm always yes and no. So perhaps unbalanced? haha But the thing is I also attribute those feelings to other things in my chart which is why i have such a vagueness for my asc. and its affects. It's an "is this thing even on!?" feeling. An afterthought thrown in my chart just to add some molecule of air. Maybe your mercury since its right on your asc makes you feel it more? IP: Logged |

Absolutely YESSSS I am very ambivalent about everything! When I am one place I wish to be at another, when I am at home I want to be out, when out, I want to be at home. I experience an inner restlessness but I attribute it to Uranus conjunct my ascendant. I also love studying anything, even food labels at the grocery store. I will stand there and read them, then compare. I absolutely LOVE to compare, that's what I am really good at, making comparisons. Do you enjoy comparing? IP: Logged |

lol idk! I have my uranus conj my IC.
I compare myself to others haha but i think that's something everyone does :P I don't like doing math comparisons sooo maybe not.
But i agree with your whole top statement about being unsure! It's an annoying feeling.
Although i do love pretty things which is what i always say when relating to my asc. I get in a bad mood when things don't look nice. Like my atmosphere needs to be stimulating.IP: Logged |

Yeah, I feel better in nice surroundings as well. It's like entering a room that's decorated nicely and just having this relaxing feeling. I am very sensitive to my environment. Dreary looking rooms tend to depress me and I am a depressive anyway. Do you have depression? It's something I relate to having prominent Libra or Capricorn. IP: Logged |

I probably do. I noticed i'm more at ease in the evenings after im all warmed up. Mornings are so bleh sometimes for me. Meh its actually a wave of ups and downs throughout the day haha IP: Logged |

I definitely do not transition from being asleep to awake very quickly? Does it take you awhile to wake up? This is why I don't like mornings, either. Am much more of an evening person so long as I haven't woken up too early, then I am exhausted by then! How are your energy levels?IP: Logged |

Lol it takes me some adjusting in the morning to get up. I use to have tons and tons of energy all my life! Only more recently i have been feeling weird and tired. The only reason i feel tired if i do though is because my shoulders hurt or my head gets that heaviness. So it's not true tiredness more a lack of enthusiasm for doing thigns because i hurt. I think maybe i'm bipolar or something. How do you feel when you're depressed? How do you know you have it? IP: Logged |

I know two people with Libra ASC. These are my impressions – they always try to look their best, they always try to smile and appear pleasant, they seem like they’re following you but actually they’re leading you, they like to be dominating in a very subtle and very indirect way, if you’re naïve they can take advantage of you without you noticing – it’s not a bad trait though, it’s endearing. They avoid conflict whenever possible but like to stir up debates. They really want to be liked by everyone and may say things they don’t really mean as to avoid hurting feelings. IP: Logged |

I believe Libra ASC iis all about beauty and aestetics especially if well-aspected. Harmonious and diplomatic approach about things, they dont really like to quarrel or cause conflincts. They are likely to take good care of themselves-always looking good and fresh.
However, I dislike their indecisiveness, lack of passion when it is expected of them to stand up for themselves, and the fact that they dont seem so loyal friends.

I think that I am very Libra ASC cuz I always try to do win/win situations. If I am doing business or have any business to do and there is a problem, I like both people to walk away happy. I am good with compromise and enjoy trying to make a situation harmonious. I am pretty indecisive, too  ------------------

I have been depressed forever, lol, since birth! It's just like having a case of the blahs. No energy, no interests, negative attitude, malaise, not wanting to do much. Depression kinda turns people into little blobs that sit and do nothing.

Im libra AC, i want peace...thats my theme of life!
I used to say what people wanted to keep peace,but no more! Now i pick my friends with more thought...ones that accept me and allow me to be real! Im not into selling myself out on my own needs to make others happy anymore, is equally stressful and steals my peace!
Yes, balance is huge! Appearance means something, im not superficial, but then again i want it to appear manicured, perfectly put together, but its got to look like its all so effortless! Ugh...such a lie tho! LOL I dont like to appear to raw or unsophisticated, for some reason it makes me feel dirty! But with Pluto sitting on my ascendant its a hard to hide that side of myself! Pluto is very raw and slips out in dark way at times!
I love wearing black because its Pluto's fav color and my libra side sees it as very practical, its an easy color to match to anything, easy to organize my closet and its a classic color(or non color)!
I hate it when anyone see my less than perfect side, but its still there no matter how hard i try to hide it! Thats my superficial shallow side, its only part of me when im getting ready to go, or fixing myself up for something. The rest of the time, im more pluto'ish, virgo'ish or saggy'ish.

i hate being a libra asc, as it oppositions a few things in my chart.
it opposes my sun, moon, and mercury.
people see me as being a weak minded and impressionable, and a lover of peace. kind of afraid to make a big choice. however thats completely wrong and anybody who knows me knows my aries/pisces sides.
i dont like peace either.

Wow, this is all so much like what my life's been like. It's like I'm talking to sisters or brothers. Peace definitely seems to be important to us Libra risers.And yes, the indecisiveness, I knooow, it really is annoying. Mostly for everyone else (to everyone who mentioned it: really sorry, I'm working on it!) I let other people decide quite often. If it's not worth arguing over, please let someone more like a leader show everyone the way, haha. I'll follow. Sometimes I think I can't have one opinion on anything. It's like I have permanent mixed feelings and if not, something will happen that makes me consider the other side of the story. I'm kind of jealous of people who can stick to what they believe in. .__. But people are always shocked to find out that I do have an opinion of my own and that when something means something to me, I am sticking up for it. I may be a pushover, but I do have a breaking point and then all of that peace-loving, diplomatic sweetness goes out of the window. It doesn't happen often, but when I blow up, run. It's when I've tried everything else to solve or deal with the conflict, but when someone still treats me like cr*p and shows zero sympathy for my feelings (here you go, the scales!), it's over. I meet Mars (Descendant) a lot on the outside, but then I also find out who my real friends are. Have any of you felt that you often get the people who blow up even when you say something calmly and nicely? I feel like I'm a magnet for them. >_> I've definitely let some things slide that really did hurt just because it was the only way to calm someone down and get the peace back. IP: Logged |
