What are others' interpretations when two people's nodes oppose each other in synastry? (North Node conjunct another's South Node)I've read that it can be like two ships passing each other in the night, but that's all I've seen so far. What else, please? Thanks! IP: Logged |

Probably it could be thought of as having two conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn in opposite signs since the north node is thought of as Jupiter-like while the south is thought of as Saturnish. That could be one way of looking at it. I hope some others will add what they think. IP: Logged |

There's some familiarity but usually you can tell that you're not really going in the same direction.. until you find out that you're actually going in opposite directions, oops. It's quite magnetic, though. I think it can work out but at times you could feel "trapped". IP: Logged |
