What do you think about this situation? Is such a square less square?

For example, I have a Libra Moon and Aquarius Venus and they square each other.

I guess one planet is at the beginning of a sign the other at the end or something like that? Trying to get a visual. It's still a square of course! Squares aren't that scary. All they are is energy that is more dynamic than a trine and especially a sextile. Just remember, a square is still a square. It will always have four corners no matter what element it is in.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it's trickier cause on the surface it looks like the two planets get along (same element) but they still create tension, which can be hard to notice or express, but nevertheless it's still there.
And it may be difficult to know exactly what's going wrong, which in turn can make it hard to "work with" the square and come to a solution.

I have out of sign squares and an opposition and it's iffy, that's for sure.
Cause sometimes it's like the tension is not there.. but then boom! Didn't see that one coming.

Yeah, they are still a square, out of sign or not. What are the squares?

Idk, question in general: would it help to think of them as if they were a regular square? So with the signs it would normally form a square with.

Same here. I have two of them and it's so awkward! I struggle with them often, but the compatible elements make it feel as if it shouldn't be so hard. Was that what you were getting at?
