I've have been digging through forums trying to understand this weird chemistry I have with a friend.
I have mars in Scorpio with venus square Pluto ( story of my life ) I am scared of how intense I get and sometimes cover up with a coy exterior ( Virgo rising ) My fiery sun ( Leo ) sits in my 12th house. My moon in Taurus lies in my 8th and mercury in Virgo in the 12th ( I am extremely private and sometimes reticent about matters of the heart) My mars is in the 2nd house with Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn!
On top of that my Moon squares my Sun so I have a constant fight about needs and wants.

I recently met someone who's sun, mercury, venus falls on my 8th House! His sun conjuncts my moon ( in Taurus )
I am at a loss of words to describe how smitten I am. I have nightmares and dreams about him.
I am puzzled, mortified, aroused and maybe addicted so I have a few questions regarding anyone with similar natal placements or synastry placements:

Does Venus square Pluto ( natally and within synastry ) mean the Pluto person has the upper hand?
( I have mars in scorpio, venus square pluto I feel I need to be in CONTROL and I cannot in this situation )

When a person's personal planets fall in your 8th House? Whom does this benefit?

Does the Venus, Sun, Mercury person feel the intensity of his planets in the other's 8th house or is it a one way street?

I want to hear stories about 8th house placements you had with someone's personal planets!

Also, let me know how you're handling your mars in Scorpio and Venus square Pluto!

Okay, I'll give my personal opinion on your questions, but others may disagree.

1. Does Venus square Pluto ( natally and within synastry ) mean the Pluto person has the upper hand?

Generally, yes. Venus is usually more obsessed / infatuated than Pluto, at least when it comes to the square. However, it is not impossible for the Pluto person to feel the intensity, too.

2. When a person's personal planets fall in your 8th House? Whom does this benefit?

You're the one feeling it.

3. Does the Venus, Sun, Mercury person feel the intensity of his planets in the other's 8th house or is it a one way street?

The planet person can usually see or "sense" that they have an impact on the house person, which can in turn pique their interest, but the house person is the one who feels the planets' energy more. It's not exactly a one way street but usually the house person is more attuned to the energy of that house (in this case - 8th: very deep, emotional and sexual).

As for your Mars in Scorpio and Venus square Pluto.. well, obviously you'd be very intense in your feelings. Control and trust issues are probably very common in your relationships.

What can help to loosen up is to own your own power and not give it away to others whom you feel a connection with.
You may have a tendency to think that others can hurt you / destroy you / abandon you, and that's where the insecurity comes from (and leads to power games and control, and so on).
So if you express these energies negatively, you should try to avoid wanting to control people and situations and be more trusting of life itself. Also, understand that just because your feelings are very intense, it doesn't mean that you can't survive crises.
Keep in mind that you're stronger than you think and you don't need to control things. Quite the opposite: once you learn to relax and just let it be, it will seem much easier and enjoyable to you.

I have Venus square Pluto and mars in Scorpio as well (and a moon in an earth sign too) and much of what you said resonates with me.

I don't think I ever felt I had the upper hand in matters of love because I was always at the mercy of my own feelings and thoughts. :/
