My topic description sucks because I had no idea what to name the thread.

I’ve been looking at a few charts and I noticed this in one of the astroclick portrait readings:
“The Moon is located near the end of the fifth house and is therefore also interpreted in the sixth house.”
I’ve also read if 12th house planets are conjunct with the ASC, then it can be interpreted as 1st house (I have an image with both going on because I’m not sure if I’m completely explaining properly).

I’ve also got 2 readings where my sun was interpreted as a 2nd house sun even though it is in the 3rd house or appears that way to me.

So my question is, what are the cases where a planet gets interpreted in 2 houses? because it’s at the end of one? And does it count when it’s in the beginning of one?

1st example:

2nd

And would these count at all?

I'm only using pictures to help ask my question and not trying to get a reading. Most aren't full charts.

All those twelfth house planets are in the twelfth house but it's entirely up to you. Get a feel for what they mean in your life and go from there. If they have a twelfth house feel, then you might as well leave them in there and read your chart that way instead of merely deluding yourself with first house interpretations that do not fit. If you don't feel like you experience the energy through that house, place them in one and interpret them like that.

I have some like yours, conjunct ascendant from twelve so I understand the confusion.

Nonetheless, if it's highly probable your birth time is accurate, the planets (including sun)will be on the hidden side of the ascending degree so they will be somewhat dimmer than they would in house one and you could experience them in a somewhat muted way.

How do you experience your Capricorn sun since conjunct ascendant is a strong place for it?

I also have Mercury and Uranus in twelve both conjunct ascendant. Uranus in twelve can be tricky.

I think it depends on how you feel about it. I don't interpret planets as in the next house if they're near the cusp.

Thats not my chart so I couldn't answer that. My friend wanted me to read his (for entertainment) but to me its like chart on expert mode.

How is uranus in the 12th tricky? -off topic i know.

That makes sense tho. I just read a few places that conjunctions to the ASC could be interpreted as 1st house and I wanted more clarification for why because that doesn't make complete sense to me. So I'm going to throw that out the window for now xD.

Thanks guys

Uranus in twelve can be difficult for some because it creeps up in charts of people who get in various predicaments with the law. So does Neptune, but that's not everyone and certainly not me.

From what I’ve experienced with my own chart, planets from the 12th house still keep that 12th house flavour even when conjunct ascendant. For me they are kind of like “in between”, there are some traits of the 1st and the 12th

I have Uranus in 12th so I’m also curious and waiting for StarlightSmileSupreme’s answer on “Uranus in twelve can be tricky”

I finished typing it while you were typing yours, 12Muddy.

What do you notice about having Uranus in 12th? I see a lot about Neptune and Saturn but not a lot about Uranus. I don't find myself concealing my Uranian side that much. Maybe it's more like a first house Uranus but Jupiter sure isn't. I am free spirited but I feel safer letting my hair down outside of the public eye.

I saw your answer, yay. The part about predicaments with the law is true for me lol I also have Neptune in the 12th. Out of the 5 planets I have there I feel the effect of the 12th house mercury the most.

Uranus conjunct my ascendant, I get annoyed when people tell me I shouldn't do certain things they consider "weird" or "too common". But I do hide certain things such as practicing “witchcraft”... etc... coz I don’t want to disturb other people.

It used to be a bit of a problem for me when I was younger. I wanted freedom to grow, change and evolve. With Saturn in the 1st, I recognised the need for rules and boundaries in my life, but at the same time I felt that they locked me down, suffocated me and killed my “inner self”. With time I developed some self control and understood that “with freedom comes responsibility”.

I do tend to hide my interest in astrology because others around here are either not interested, don't believe in it, or it offends what they do believe in so I guess that's one way a twelfth house Uranus can manifest, by sorta obsessing on what the planet stands for while away from everyone. I get a chance to express my interest here so I guess that's the ascendant peering through the cloudy skies of house twelve reaching out to distant planets.

This description of a 12th house uranus is rather interesting.

Uranus in 12th House | 12th House Uranus
by Hindu Astrology 7. December 2011 17:10

A twelfth house Uranus can give many dynamic results. Such a place always has something to do with finding surprising ways out of situations that are limiting and restricting. Such a person can see all situations of confinement in new and unique ways, and it is upon the basis of these insights that it generates its original exit strategies. Some people may find a person with a twelfth house Uranus to be upsetting and as a bad influence. Of course this undermining may be exactly what is needed, even though it scares people who cling to old and stagnant structures.

A person with a twelfth house Uranus tends to be very intuitive, secretive and with very high humanitarian ideals. Such a person may also have feelings of loneliness. A person with a twelfth house Uranus is usually nervous while doing everything. Such a person usually has a keen interest in metaphysical activities. Such a person may have unique psychic experiences which he keeps to himself for fear of being ridiculed. A person with a twelfth house Uranus has a desire to ask questions about the meaning of life and imperfections around him. Such a person always has the feeling that someone might be sneaking upon him in case he is not too careful. Such a person must also develop self control.

A person with a twelfth house Uranus is likely to seek individual freedom of expression through secret study, romantic affairs or a study of unusual subjects. Such a person’s subconscious forces him to attempt a kind of spiritual rebirth that brings you into contact with universal forces through mysterious attractions, occult investigations, psychic and mystical experiences. A person with a twelfth house Uranus must always be ready for sudden change and sudden happenings. There can also be a constructive crisis in such a person’s life which can be related to the above issues.

A person with a twelfth house Uranus has a great need to feel free and unshackled, yet often feel restricted or confined in some vague or elusive manner. Such a person may have a very strong intuition but does not listen to himself too much. Such a person can be his own biggest enemy. He tends to disregard common sense and his natural limitations when he feels that his will is being challenged. This is a good position for researchers or those who need to be isolated or to work behind the scenes. This is an excellent placement for metaphysical or occult studies if you have self control.

A twelfth house Uranus implies period of unexpected and sudden conditions of enmity. It even intensifies the liability towards accidents. It also indicates that such a person may be held responsible, unfairly, for accidents involving injury to others. A person with a twelfth house Uranus forms secret attachments. These can often be related to secret marriages. This is a favorable position for those who are inclined to act from occult or psychic motives, in which case it favors the mysterious and romantic.

Thanks

Twelfth house Uranus can mean a deep devotion to freedom and experiencing it in all areas. It's almost like trying to break free from physical bonds, the body and such, in order to experience ultimate freedom as pure spirit. I have always been interested in the idea of becoming invisible, for instance and wish I had something I could put on that would cause that. Even as a kid I wanted to be invisible for a day because it seems like it's a way to experience a certain kind of freedom. So I agree, twelfth house Uranus can experiment with all kinds of unconventional methods to achieve ultimate freedom even though it's really impossible, when you think about it. To exist means to be shackled, pretty much. Freedom really is a state of mind more than anything. Maybe that's the ultimate lesson of Uranus in twelve?

As far as the occult, I pretty much limit myself to astrology. I like to study strange things. I like strange sensations, too. Uranus puts me in touch with an appreciation for the unusual.

I see myself as an individual, I do not repress the non comformist part of myself. I have no fear of this concept but I do feel self conscious at times when I don't fit in with the people around me. Twelfth house energy does that at times. I feel awkward, self conscious, uncomfortable in my own skin.

I do agree with sudden loss associated with Uranus's presence in house twelve. That seems to ring true. It's kinda unnerving to not know when situations will suddenly take a turn.
