Not a Natal Moon but I have had an 8H pMoon (Taurus) "forever" and I can definitely say that it's been a VERY hard time for me!! In September this year it will have finally moved into 9H and then late next year it'll be in Gemini. PhewIP: Logged |

Hmmm... Can't say depression, but i could say i get into phases of being "sad".I am a very happy optimistic person, but every now and then, for a day or 2 i get really sad about something. My moon is in Leo, in the 8th house. IP: Logged |

It's hard to say...I think dark stuff is always on my mind, on some level. I am prone to thinking about crises, economic collapse, concentration camps, war. If I hear about a particularly horrifying atrocity, it will color my mood strongly for days and I tend to get nightmares at that time. When I think of depression, though, it's more of a chemical imbalance that makes me feel like I have no buffers against the cruelty of life...and that only happens to me rarely. I had it post-pardum a few times, I've had it when PMS meets a big eclipse...things like that. 8H Pisces moon (with a Cap sun, Aquarius Mercury...much in common with you, earthypisces!) IP: Logged |

Very much. Rather, a lot more these days with Pluto dancing back and forth over my stellium I think it gives you more depth of thought and understanding though. I feel like it's got to do with over-thinking, over-analyzing.. that tends to get you depressed more often than not. You tend to catch the little things and think. It's a very weird thing for a Libra moon like me having an 8th house, mood swings a lot and 8th house doesn't help. IP: Logged |
