How would it feel to have natal moon in the 12th house, but it falls in your partners 1st house? I'm finding it difficult to put this into words! How would the 12th house moon person feel?

I guess someone with a 12th house Moon is quite private about their real feelings / intentions.
But if their Moon falls in your 1st house, it may be easier for them to open up to you, because they feel that you can understand, or provide them with comfort / safety.

I know men are usually attracted to women whose ASC conjuncts their Moon sign - very emotionally appealing to them (the Moon person).

My Cancerian husband has 12th moon in Aq.
He doesnt see matters concerning his emotional wellbeing as it actually is. Matters concerning the heart is always swept under the carpet & silenced.
I have also read that this position also represents "mother image as skewed & her true nature is never realized - either good or bad."

His Aq Moon conjunct my Asc - I surely can see through him! Even so when he tries hard to hide : exposed & vulnerable is more like it

I think you have to try not to be over the top with your emotions because it can scare them. They are not used to it. Even though their moon in your 1st house can make you want to spill your feelings to them (lol i've been there) you have to take it slow.

It's always been the reverse for me.
The Moon person tends to be pretty open with the ASC/1st house person.

Well I have pluto in the 1st maybe thats why I feel that way. For me people whose moon falls in my 1st, 5th or 7th house I can never hold my feelings back with them. They make me want to express my emotions but then again their moon is likely on my pluto

Interesting.

What does your own Moon do? Is it in an expressive sign or house?

The 2H isn't known for being expressive, haha.
But a Sag Moon could be (although you guys are usually quite private with your deepest emotions/feelings).

At any rate, you did mention Fire houses in synastry (1st & 5th) and another angular house (7th).

It's just that IME it's usually the Moon person who acts out the energy of the house (in synastry). But it could go both ways, of course.
