being in each others signs is as being in each other houses and is interpreted like a CONJUNCTION....means your house is my house...so to speak. they work together in that formation very well.

Just read this on some other forum, and it reminded me of when Anne Ortelee talks about it. Planets being in each other's signs.

EX. Venus in Virgo/Gemini and Mercury in Taurus/Libra

How does this work? Is the planet interpreted in its OWN sign rather than the sign it is in? Is it also interpreted as a conjunction, like the person claims?

That looks like the same as mutual reception. Maybe it connects them in some way, so the traits of both signs are melded together by what the planets in reception signify? Like with Mercury in Taurus/Venus in Gemini you might have someone who knows a lot about art or an art dealer.

Ahhh I seee ... I thought it worked the other way around. Like Venus in Gemini turning into Venus in Taurus and Mercury in Taurus turning into Mercury in Gemini - and interpreted in that same way, like when a planet is near a cusp and interpreted in the next house.
