What is Venus opposite Venus like in synastry? I'm specifically interested in the Taurus/Scorpio Venus opposition aspect. But Regardless of those signs. I'm still interested to hear from those whom have experienced this aspect. what was/is like for you? Is this aspect really about having opposite love natures? Or is there more to this aspect? I wanna know!IP: Logged |

Lol. This aspect is the least talked about aspect from what I've seen. I can't even find a thread on it here on ll. how odd..@lisalisa would you care to explain hw you feel this aspect plays out in your relationship? Is your love nature the total opposite of his?IP: Logged |

It's kind of hard... because there are feelings involved. It's not just sex (Mars).. so the people might feel "in love".. but they can't always make it work.I had both Venus opp Venus and Mars square Mars with the same person. Brangelina also have these two aspects. If you are both mature and you want a relationship - and you are willing to do everything to make it work - then it can work. In my case - I just found him very immature in behaviour. He is still like this now. I cannot deal with him and I broke up with him long ago. It depends so much on where the two people are 'at'. Venus opposite Venus does not lead to a 'fling'.. Maybe the conventional opinion is that it *could*. I disagree though. I think it feels more like 'relationship material". If either or both of you are just not ready to take that step, it will become extra unnerving. It's like meeting someone you *could* see yourself with - but you met them at the wrong time, wrong place, wrong ages - and you (or they) are just not read to commit. This will not be a friendship. If you can't commit romantically to each other - you can end up taking little stabs at each other and blaming the other person about things not working out - so it's very difficult to stay friends. Oh i should add this though... If you do end up in a relationship, the bickering won't just end lol But at least - because Venus is such an 'agreeable' planet - you will both have a willingness to sort things out.If you wanted to talk things over - they would try to listen... If you suggested that you see a couple's therapist together - your partner would probably be happy to go along! The talk might not be very fruitful and the therapist might walk out of the room pulling their hair out - but at least you are both open to keep trying lol Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Smgge61-Y8 LoL IP: Logged |

Wow, this was accurate in my case. My feelings for him are like off and on. Because I can't shake away the feeling of knowing it could work..... But He's not ready for what I have to give, And what I want in return . We can't just be friends. At least not me. IP: Logged |

I think for me it's the other way around, he's ready, i'm not, i think he's frustrated by it, but patient (taurus) + he's like 6 years older than meI wonder if it has a significance when venus opposes venus and both our sun signs are ruled by venus (he's taurus i'm libra) IP: Logged |

What if both venuses are well aspected otherwise? Like for example, my mercury trine her venus, her venus is in my fifth house, and her saturn sextile, pluto conjunct my venus? EDIT: Keep in my mind that my mercury sextile my own venus, should it work like a bridge? IP: Logged |

I have a Venus opposed Venus in Taurus/Scorpio aspect with someone. I loved the oppositions. I'm the Scorpio and I only fall in love with a person that has at least one planet in Taurus. The person that has Venus in Taurus was lovely. We fell in love. I found the love natures flowing, a lot of give and take in a natural way. We aren't together now but we still love each other.IP: Logged |

Yay! I have 4 planets in Taurus! Love me, squeeze me, hug me!! J.k.
From my experience ViT and ViS feel the long term thing strongly but differ in the way to get there. ViT wants to take the time to build from the ground up, revealing their passions slowly which creates insecurity in ViS as they jump back and forth between whether they can truly trust or not, whether it really is forever or not. This gets ViS turning cold and hot, love you and don't love you which in turn frustrates ViT because they believe VS isn't being truthful and honest which flares their insecurity for ViT doesn't like putting effort into something that isn't going anywhere. The dynamic can be enjoyed for what it is but it takes effort on both parties to try and make it work. To be aware of both parties dynamic involvement without saying one is better than the other can make a huge difference. IP: Logged |

Hahaha, Venus in Scorpio would say.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD75qrmHYes (one of my all time favorite even though I am Venus in Taurus also) Oh how dramatic, lol. quote: for ViT doesn't like putting effort into something that isn't going anywhere.
One of the truest things that has ever been said! Been with Venus in Scorpio. I have mixed feelings about it.

Have Venus in Aries and someone had a Venus in Libra, near exact opposition. She was the aggressive one though. It didn't work out unfortunately. Of interesting note is it started and ended while Venus was in Capricorn (my 7th, her 12th).IP: Logged |

In my opinion, It doesn't work well.I don't like the aloof and controlling ways of a Venus in Capricorn. They usually trine my Sun and we get along great as friends. ------------------ "If a man does not work passionately - even furiously - at being the best in the world at what he does, he fails his talent, his destiny, and his God." It's depend to the rest of the whole chart indeed. For some reason , I think only venus opposed venus should not be a big problem in relanshionship until any venus is actually an angel' rulers.I have venus in Leo conjunct my NN , and I've met someone who has aqua venus conjunct my SN and also his mercury too ! And his 2 aqua planets trine my sun. His gemini mars and moon also sextile my leo venus. It's so lovely to have such a show-it to your face relationship. You can just throw away the opposition in my case. IP: Logged |
