I was wondering about this as I have always felt very female and very feminine.

I know many people struggle with feeling related to their gender. It is talked about more now than in prior times but even in prior times, I know that many people struggled with this.

I wonder if a female with a Cancer Moon feels as I do.

Hmm. Actually, I'm not very feminine. More like androgyne.

I once talked to my fellow Cancer Sun/Moon female and she said to me that she is more of a tomboy than feminine. Even teachers in her school thought she was like a guy. Her Asc was either Sagittarius or Capricorn.

I know two Cancer moon men and they're quite feminine (both straight, not that that has a lot to do with defining sexuality.)

Maybe I'm a weird Cancer. I've always thought that my Moon should be in Earth/Air sign.

I have a friend with a cancer moon and he openly cries and is very emotional. I think cancer moon has a strong effect on both genders. I'm glad I have my serene/relaxed taurus moon when I see my cancer moon friend in emotional turmoil on a day to day basis.

Looks like men with that placement are more feminine than women.

Have my moon in Cancer and I am a woman, have been told by people before that I look very feminine, but some of my mannerisms can be masculine at times. Contradictory, even though I dont see it...

I guess I started thinking about this because my mother would tell me that she wished she were a man.

I always loved being in a female body and being heterosexual. I never had any thoughts that I might not be, or any struggles in that area.

I feel like I can be the best of the male gender which is intelligence and rationality and the best of the female which is emotions, gentleness and vulnerability.

I think it is the domicile placement of the Cancer Moon. I think a planet in it's home is like this.

What do you all think?

No, Cancer isn't about rationality. Feminine (in men and women) yes, and can be nurturing (sometimes smothering), more sensitive to vocal tones than others, but neither moon or mercury in Cancer is going to make someone rational or intelligent. If anything I'd think it would interfere with that.

I do know someone with a Cancer moon is is very feminine (not that she's flamboyant about it) and yet also very rational and smart, but I don't see her rationality & intelligence as her moon at work, but rather her Sag sun, Cap mercury, Aquarian north node, and Gemini rising.

Agree with this , as I know many female cancer moon , they 're woman like other normal woman. Till now , I didn't know which aspect make woman very feminine, it dosn't really like the cookbook said .
But when men have this placement , they tend to show their sensitive side than any others . A couple men that I knew with this placement have a hidden-sensitive emotional ie. they love sweet love song , they have a gentle vibe than others , woman love/trust them more.

Thank you Jessica
I think any planet in the Domicile is a pure gift. You just flow with the planet.

A planet in the Fall is the opposite. I have Mars in the Fall and I can feel how hard it is for me to reach goals. I do it but it is a struggle. It is very hard to be assertive and go after what i want. It is a struggle all around.

Do you have any planets in the Fall?

Yes I agree with this thread_______I know a Cancer moon , Leo Sun , Virgo Rising & Venus girl and she’s Uber feminine, I know another Sagittarius girl with a Virgo moon & rising that’s very feminine, my friend is a Aries sun with a Pisces moon , Cancer rising that’s equally prissy in style , I think that the moon in earth/water signs can make one very feminine especially:
Cancer moon
Pisces moon
Virgo moon
