Topic: Can you Do house Rulers if it is not an Equal house Chart?

I am trying to practice and the chart is not equal houses. It seems like it can still be done. It won't come out as neat but you want accuracy. Right? Please, give me your wisdom on this. Thanks! ------------------

I can do houserulers ONLY with Placidus or topocentric houses.I find the symmetry of equal very beautiful and think theoretically it is a great housesystem. However, I haven`t found the houserulerships or even houseplacements to be as reliable.
This could just be me though. Maybe others can read it with equal better. I personally can`t. And I tried it out with a horoscope of someone born in Sweden with ASC on 14 Cancer and IC on 14 Leo. Naturally I thought the houses were ridiculous and she would of course without dout identify more with the interpretation after equal.
Turned out, while the one with equal was okayish, the interpretation after Pladicus was the one that got under her skin because of the accuracy. IP: Logged |

Yes, if you consider the sign that cusps the house first. In my chart, my 11th house is almost all Pisces but the very beginning is Aquarius at 25 degrees. Meaning the ruler of my 11th house is Aquarius not Pisces after all.
And my 12th house starts off at 29 degrees Pisces, not 0 degrees Aries. IP: Logged |

What is the Astro.com system you get when you just put in the natal info? Placidus or equal?
