I have read quite a lot of threads on here & people who refer to others having a lot of Sagittarius or Aquarius in their birth chart, as being more prone to cheating? I don't really agree with this, as my entire chart is almost Sagittarius, my ascendant & Saturn is in Aquarius & I am very loyal & devoted to someone when in a relationship. I have an Aquarius stellium and smaller Sag stellium and I am completely sexually devoted to my partner (which is unsurprising given that we have Mars conjunct Saturn).I think it depends on the two people involved to be honest. IP: Logged |

I missed those threads. And I don't think either is particularly true. However, both signs prefer their freedom and don't like to be tied down so that can make romance rocky, especially if someone is smothering, obsessed, etc. But that doesn't automatically translate into being prone to cheat, though quick to drop someone clinging a bit too tightly seems likely (and in Sag's case then enjoying the single's life, though not necessarily so, and not to be confused with cheating). Although aqua =freedom , but don't forget that is fixed sign , once you 're perfect fit , they will not let you run away . Only when you restrict his freedom , that'll be the turning point. For Saggi ....hmmmm ..sorry to say , in my life I've never seen whom has personal planets "only in mutable sign" can have a long term loyal relationship. There's must be some personal planets fall on fixed sign that help them FIX to their partner. IP: Logged |

Thank you for the replies! Well, I must say, that you're quite right with Sagittarius. We cannot really keep relationships, & that has a really big impact on my relationships. I am scorpio, but my moon makes it almost impossible for me to stay in a relationship, without using cheating as a way out. The reason I do this is out of fear & don't want to risk getting hurt actually.I have a friend who is Capricorn, he has a lot of placements in Sag and Aqua as well, & he is extremely possessive when in a relationship. I've seen the way he is with his ex girlfriend, but yet these signs aren't really known as being clingy or possessive in any way. I mean, his Venus is in Aqua, his moon is also in Sag, it's just pretty confusing? Lol* I don't know what to think. IP: Logged |

Half my chart is Sag, including moon, Mars, Uranus, and Eris, AND it's 5H. That does give me a certain perspective toward sexuality that's unusual (that is I don't confuse sex with love, nor do I need a lot of emotional frills for it to mean something, and I could approach sex as casually as a game or giving a massage to a friend), but even back in my experimental days I did not cheat (cheating means I didn't lie or violate the terms of any understanding I established, not that I couldn't have more than one sexual partner at a time). There are a couple of memories I have that I can sigh wistfully over because I refused to cheat even for an instant, but I'd have regretted cheating even more (even if I'd never been caught). That said, I have a lot of Libra as well which tries to keep me fair. Perhaps it also helps that I have a fairly low sex drive, or at least it seems so compared to other people who are obsessed with sex (though I get the impression at least a few obsessed with it and/or new romantic prospects, even men, are that way because they think they're supposed to be, as an ego game, inhibited/sexually ashamed who learn that what you resist persists psychologically, or even just because they're bored and don't have any better hobbies...again, just some give me that impression at times). Pretty much. It blows my mind that people make sweeping generalizations about signs, sign combinations like "All Sags cheat!" etc. As if there's no such thing as personal responsibility anymore! I definitely think that's the more darker nature of those two independent signs, but as someone with an Aquarius Moon/NN and a Sagittarius IC (with Sun in the 9th) .. I'm disgustingly loyal in all regards, as is my super Sagittarian/Piscean boyfriend. However, I've had a few other Sagittarian men that were definitely "slippery", be it emotionally or physically. So it happens quite a bit with that sign, but it just depends on the character of the human you're with at the end of the day. IP: Logged |

My ex, a-hole that he was, was staunchly against cheating, and he was a Sag sun conjunct moon with Mars in Aqua.You have to remember that Sag and Aqua are dogmatic, principled signs that live by their code so if their code says cheating is wrong they will never do it. IP: Logged |

Lol, well I'm glad that some of you agree with me that it depends on the two people involved.I'm also currently talking to this guy, he's a Cappy, & has an Aqua moon, also a lot of Sagittarius in his chart, just like mine & he's so shy though. He does like me & it's obvious, but he never flirts with me. I ma a much more open person & I always flirt with him. He would talk to me all day, everyday, and he's still extremely withdrawn. I think the way he grew up has contributed a lot to his behaviour, because he didn't have the easiest life. When he greets girls, he shakes their hands..LOL* I also agree that flirting isn't cheating, when it goes beyond that point, then yes, obviously* IP: Logged |

As a hardcore Sagittarius, I always find it somehow insulting to assume just because I value my freedom and space in a relationship then I'm accusingly a cheater.
Even when I don't want a relationship with someone but feel attracted to their bodies, I tell them in all honesty that that they shouldn't expect anything from more from me than a good roll in the hay.
I don't lie and I don't beat around the bush, if I want you because I like your body then I will tell you so and if I like you romantically, the same applies.
I don't do mind games and I don't cheat because for someone to actually make me fall for them in the first place is a great accomplishment in itself. Once they have me, I'm theirs.------------------

Aquarians are fixed and value stability more than most people realize. Sagittarius doesn't do secrecy, that's Scorpio. Those are the ones who usually cheat from what I have witnessed.

I agree.And to cheat you have to do something behind your partner`s back, and that isn`t something I would do, or any Sag I know.
Though having said that sometimes Sags can be "serial monogamists".

I noticed that too. Scorpio Mars and Leo Moons are the ones who are likely to cheat from what I've seen.
Pisces are kind of "slippery" when they do not understand what they want/need in relationships ( My sis, the best example !!) ------------------

when my Scorpio ex starting hinting at marriage, I broke it off with him a few weeks later.

Wellllll, I'm a Scorpio & I'd never cheat on someone & I'm actually veeeeeery straight forward. When I like someone, I will tell them so. It could be because of the Sagittarius/Aquarius influences in my chart. I hurt people's feelings with this mouth of mine.It will just get me into trouble! Lol. But I am quite shocked that some people with a lot of these signs' influence are quiet & then you get those with strong influence of these signs as well, & they represent it quite perfectly. I guess one can't base one's entire personality on astrology. Not that I don't believe it, I do, it makes sense, but sometimes I feel as though myself & others are different every now & again. I prefer straight forward people though, & I despise mind games just as much, because there's no point in it. Scorpio people will play & play & eventually sting themselves, AND lose that one person they loved. To me that's making a hell out of your life & pretty much pointless. I have Sun, Mars & Pluto in Scorpio. My Asc & Saturn is in Aquarius. My Moon & Mercury in Sagittarius. Jupiter & Venus in Virgo & the rest in Capricorn.
