I seldom come to know people with unaspected planets but when I do, they usual have Sun/Moon/Venus/Mars unaspected, very rarely do they have unaspected Jupiter or any other outer planet.
My unaspected Jupiter occupies my 2nd House and Sagittarius dominates my birth chart with a percentage of 65%.

I've always wanted to understand this somehow uncommon feature of my birth chart but I kind of end up more confused than anything else.
I've tried to do a personal research about unaspected planets, mostly Jupiter, in the hope of understanding mine but infos are scarce and often contradictory.

This is the only somehow accurate description I could relate to out of all the articles I've found.

"Unaspected Jupiter = seeking for a conviction or religion and wants development. An unaspected Jupiter native will be an international, a traveller, someone with a strong conviction, showing the way (sometimes as a coach, sometimes on a trip)."
Here' s the link, there are description for other unaspected planets. http://astropost.blogspot.com/2011/07/calling-planets-more-explanation.html

So guys can you offer me insight regarding this ? What do you know of unaspected Jupiter ? Specially in 2nd House ?

------------------
Sagittarius Sun
Sagittarius Venus
Sagittarius Mars
Sagittarius Mercury
Wait what's else isn't in Sagittarius ?
oh right ....
Sagittarius North Node.

I guess it's quite rare, yes.

Some people say unaspected planets are more "pure", but also less predictable, so their energy can be raw but somewhat untamed and erratic.

So that could make you a hardcore Sagittarius ( ) since Jupiter disposits your Sag stellium and is itself in Sag.

In 2nd house it could mean that all matters of this house will be "treated" in a Sag way - your self-esteem, values, possessions and so on will be Jovial in nature - maybe you see yourself as someone who possesses a love of travel, foreign cultures, studies, and someone who is quite energetic and optimistic, always hoping for the best.

The material side of life is probably quite "spiritualised" - you may see money and possessions as a means to an end and not be particulary attached to them.

There are many ways to interpret it but bottom line is: you're very Jupiterian and probably identify yourself with most of its traits.

Yes, it is rare and one of the rarer ones of the Unapsected. Can you explain how it feels to me? I have an Unaspected Venus.

i just looked at that link and i'm not understanding this "within orb or sign" thing. what does the sign matter?

"Calling planets, more explanation
I just tweeted about calling planets as I noticed that I have to explain a bit more about what it is, what major aspects and what orbs are. I use the term frequently because I find it as important in a chart as a scar is in the face, like a sort of an Astro ID.

WHEN?
Planets make aspects. Aspects are specific distances with other planets or angles in the chart. The major aspects are conjunction 0d) sextile (60d), square (90d) trine (120d) and opposition (180d). An aspect needs not to be exactly the mentioned distance. There is an orb. I use a 5 degree orb (with exceptions). A calling planet doesn't make such an aspect within orb or sign. (I don't say that there is no aspect when there is an aspect within 5 degrees orb, but out of sign. I just use these indications for 'calling planets').

WHAT?
Calling planets tend to present their energy at any kind of level, somehow, anyhow.

HOW?
When it is your Sun that doesn't make major aspects within 5 degrees orb and/or in sign you will draw attention, somehow, anyhow as a leader, performing, showing off, whatever it takes." http://astropost.blogspot.com/2011/07/calling-planets-more-explanation.html

i'm just wondering because my jupiter is in my 7th by itself. it's a 2 degrees gemini. my venus is at 28 degrees gemini.

are they just saying out of sign for people that might not think to look into the beginning/ending of other signs for the major aspects?

Actually Jupiter is natally in Scorpio.

I see.

Well you'd still be very Jovial, I think, cause a stellium is a stellium, and yours happens to be in Sag.

But there's more depth to you than it seems.
And Plutonian stuff may attract you - you may want to explore the darker side of life / human psyche, for example.

It may be difficult to openly express the Sag energy because the dispositor is in the previous sign, Scorpio, which is obviously very different from Sag..

Don't know if you can relate at all.
I don't have much experience with unaspected planets cause I don't have any natally, so I'm speculating here.

Okay so if Scorpio is in your 2nd house obviously none of what I wrote will apply.
You just have to replace the qualities of Sag by those of Scorpio and apply them to the 2nd house.

Which could mean something like: obsessed with possessions, love/hate relationship with possessions, a need to control them..
Black and white values and maybe extreme opinions on some matters.

Is it still unaspected if it only has connections to points like the ascendant or midheaven?

Ok, how can I express this ? hmmmm...My second house is stuck between two cusp : Libra and Scorpio.
When it comes to money/possessions, I'm generous and possessive all at once.
Contradictory ? yes, I know. If I trust the person, I will give him/her my things anytime they need them but if I don't trust them, I won't, like NEVER.
I think it has more to do with my Libra Moon in 2nd house.
I only have Pluto and Jupiter in Scorpio. All of my personal planets are in Sagittarius. Scorpio is the only occupied water sign in my chart, Cancerian and Piscean energies are almost non-existent.

Yes. A planet must form a major aspect( like conjunction, square, sextile, trine or opposition) with another planet not angle to be aspected astrologically.

So, if the planet is aspecting an angle but nothing else, all that energy just gets channeled into the angle, so the angle becomes more important?

Most astrologers say that unaspected planets are weak. In my case, Jupiter is feral and wild ! with no aspects to limit his energy or frame it, he is freer, rawer.
Since I was a child,I had a very keen interest in history, ancient civilizations specially Rome, foreign languages, archeology, mythology, museums, ancient religions and unresolved mysteries of old times ( Jupiter in Scorpio)
I used to run around picturing myself as a Roman or a Greek Empress, doing speeches and imagining vast halls filled with senators.
I've always wanted to be the wisest, the most knowledgeable and the smartest among my childhood friends. I was a proud know-it-all
I also loved playing detective, trying to solve old crimes and unresolved stories during ancient historical eras. I was different form most kids and a true adventurer at heart.
Did you know that Walts Disney had an unaspected Neptune ? The famous writer of the Harry Potter Series had unaspected Mercury too and the founder of Boy Scout had an unaspected Mars.
