Topic: Mars or Venus opposite Uranus in synastry?

Hey everyone, i'm new to this forum ^_^. I was wondering what other peoples experiences were with mars or venus opposite uranus in synastry? my mars (in aries, 3H) opposite his uranus (libra 4H)
his venus (in cancer 12H) opposite my uranus (cap 1H)
I know people consider mars opposite uranus to be a violent or dangerous aspect, supposibly the aspect of divorce. I don't really see this relationship being a long term or stable relationship so I am not all too worried about that, but I am just curious to know what other peoples experiences were, especially with mars opp uranus since I can't seem to find many interpretations out there.

His Venus opposite my Uranus.
My Venus trine his Uranus. For two years I try to be nice and friendly, he acts stand-offish and cordial in a very 'minimal' way... I try to get closer since we're in the same circle of friends, send him jokes, poke fun at him on and offline.. Nothing. He acts removed and detached with very rare exceptions.
My behaviour was not because I was interested romantically btw. It was just because I wanted us to be friends. Now he is travelling to South Africa and will live there for the next couple of years. So - totally unexpected he asks me to have a fling with him and tells me how he has always liked me and how upset he is that now he will not see me again and that he can't believe how many opportunities he missed... and ... just... *nuts*.. I said again that I would like to be friends... but he doesn't want to be friends.
*shrug* So that's that. I don't want sex or love or a fling... and he doesn't want to be just friends.
I'm the Uranus in the opposition - maybe this is the stronger aspect. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the response! Hmm, its always curious wondering how the whole chart and other aspects play into it as well, how to tell which interpersonal dynamics are a result of which aspect.I feel like between us, my mars opposite his uranus I feel as if I bring some sort of calamity into his life physically with my presence, as I tend to be very assertive towards my approach, whereas his venus opposite my uranus brings the same level of upheaval into mine on a more mental and emotional basis... Do you know which houses his venus and your uranus were in? It sounds similar to like a hard saturn aspect as well. IP: Logged |

That's how it worked for me. For so long, I hid my feelings for him (I think it's his Venus opposite my Uranus) but I tried to act cold and aloof because I was afraid! That might be why he was acting that way with you IP: Logged |

I found that Chris Brown and Rihanna have the Mars-Uranus opposition, yikes!

MR 180 UR have the potential to become sudden nail bitter issues. Especially if you are not aware of the influence in the union. This is not the case when you have knowledge of it in the union, as in your case. Your job is to understand the supporting cast of aspects in the union to help you learn what your options are in working around such an aspect influence.There may be an easier way to read and understand complicated Synastry pie chart aspects. Pie chart aspects can also be produced onto a basic Synastry Aspect Chart. Review the sample chart at your leisure. It may help you gain even more insight than you currently have.
