So it was the planet closest to your ascendent? Or do you just have a lot of planets in Capricorn that lead to Saturn as the final depositer? IP: Logged |

Saturn works differently for me. I'm everything that you said, about restrictions, strict disciplinarian attitude,so hard on myself, I could have done better, self containment, aloofness,being a loner since I was a child, but I have a leo stellium,sun,merc and venus in leo. Still all these planets conjunct saturn. I'm also an extrovert. I can look within myself and see when saturn is getting too much of a spoil sport IP: Logged |

Ok yeah it does sound like saturn is really strong in your chart. But hmm Idk I personally believe your ruling planet is the one closest to your ascendent and im not saying that saturn is more ruling of me then it is you but I guess i'm more just curious about others who have saturn on the ascendent. Because i personally dont care for planets being ruled by certain signs. So i dont really care if a capricorn ascendent says their ruling planet is saturn. But obviously saturn is a heavy influence in your chart. But really my question is pretty negative in itself. Because it might be true and i might just be focusing on the negative on things and making others see it in themselves tooIP: Logged |

No, I don't feel that way. Saturn in my life manifests differently. I grew up in a very strict, traditional home. I always tried to break free. And I succeeded in doing so. I see possibilities and I take chances, however slim they are. Oh, and I have 5 capricorn planets, including sun. I have cap ascendant conjunct cap saturn in the 1st. IP: Logged |

Well,you asked about opinions on your quote. as far as I'm concerned, Saturn is my chart ruler. He opposes my ASC at 7 degrees. I don't feel the opposition as much as I used to when I was a child and growing up.But I disagree to your quote. I am a woman of Saturn but I have other beautiful things going on in my chart that makes me someone of ''wonder and possibilities'' but may be someone of restrictions too. It doesn't have to be either or.Saturn ruled people can be both. They just have to know how to find the right balance.It comes gradually with age. EDIT: Saturn has both a restrictive and liberating power. He restricts when he has to restrict to which he will help you liberate yourself at the right time. IP: Logged |

Yeah actually thats true. I guess its just right now in life. But my mind just feels like its always closing more, making more conclusions and judgements, burrowing deeper into the truth. But getting further from the bigger picture. But yeah its true. The restriction can make you want to break free. I was a very shy kid but I specifically did things to get me out of my shell, like be the first to read in front of class and I went into the school singing competition. So yeah you guys are right. Idk maybe its just me but i feel like my minds never been that open to wonder.... and do i even care? not really IP: Logged |

Yeah I think I definitely am. Even though I think about esoteric things that cant really be proven scientifically like astrology and psychic abilities. And Idk I dont feel that happy with my approach, but I do feel prideful that I am focusing on the truth and not just believing in something because it makes me happy. (If people even do that, maybe they just believe because they truly believe.)IP: Logged |

Hmm dunno about "truth". I believe that the universe works in mysterious ways. Science isn't the only road to the truth although it allows us to get a glimpse of “truth”. There are so many possibilities, many unknown roads out there, lol I keep an open mind. IP: Logged |

Burrowing into the truth and stepping away from the bigger picture, that sounds like the difference between Scorpio and Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the big picture while Scorpio is the detective, finding out specifics. The thing about "I'm always right." is that our reality is made from our perception. There is no right and wrong objectively (birds eye view) but only when we're in 1st person and standing on one side of a fence, looking at the person on the other side and saying "Man, you really don't get what I'm seeing." ahh its cool that you mention scorpio and sagitarious. because I believe that the way my chart is progressing is that at night it progresses a few more degrees than in the day. because i really feel different at night. and where i believe my chart is in the day is that i have moon and pluto conjunct in the 9th, which is sagitarious. and while they are there i dont feel so narrow minded and focused on a single thing. but at night i think they progress into the 8th house and i feel more much like that. so yeah. i have a lot of observations about how my chart progressions affect me.oh and the thing about being right. i was referring to being truthful and factful. not about being right or wrong. but when someone says something is wrong then i agree there is more than one way to view things. so i think there is an objective right, and that is the truth. there is a rock on the ground over there, i think im right about that. maybe im not using the right word. i just dont feel like i see the bigger picture sometimes. that my current life mission is to find things that no one has ever seen. but im constantly changing so that might change soon. i feel better today. and i like what you said about realizing that others are the same. i used to think i was so different and that no one could relate to me. but people have gone through some very similar experiences as me.
