Does this aspect always have to end up in hostility? My gosh, it hurts! Stings like a scorpio lol.
All the people I have it with, mostly double whammies are people who have been outright rude and display extreme hatred towards me, or MUTUAL DISLIKE!
Is this how this aspect plays out? >.< Is it just me or does this aspect hurt like a *****?

I've read that it does sometimes end in "hostility", usually after some passionate infatuation..

Whoa! Seems like a nightmare to me!
I have yet to experience the passionate and obsessive side of pluto. I'm a Taurus Rising I have to admit the descriptions of pluto in synastry sounds very yummy
Shame that it never matches my experiences, I find pluto makes two people very touchy about each other and almost always defensive, and there's always hateful feelings seething below the surface and just a lot of clashes... Or maybe it's just me that has problems with pluto

I have sun square Pluto natally, so I have this with many people born in my generation (hellooo Libra generation, how ya doin'? )

No it doesn't always end in hostility. I've known a few of my friends for most of my life. Still going strong.

Faith,

I think it's less dramatic in friendship.
Usually Pluto gets ugly in the romance department..

ETA: Not saying it's always doomed, though!

In friendships its just as bad for me,
Being in my 7th house, it seems like I'll have to face pluto eventually.
It's like meeting myself in the other person, and not liking it at all. Lol

Charley it's interesting you say you meet yourself in the other person. Are you sun or pluto? What was your experience?

Honestly, I don't think so either. Maybe we get used to the internal pressure, so it doesn't bother as us much, coming from others? It's just like more of the same.

I did marry out of my generation but always thought it was my Venus conjunct Neptune that kept backfiring with guys my age.

Anyway, I do have Cap friends who are in happy, long-term relationships with people their own age (with Libra Pluto.) So I know it can work.

Edit: But I think some signs and decans square against each other better than others; Caps and Libras tend to get along.

Haha!
Hope everything's going well with your family

And I do agree with you and peach about it being less harsh when you have it natally.

When someone's Pluto conjuncts my Sun or Mars for example, I don't feel it that much cause I have that natally.. so it's not that big of a deal. Or maybe it's just because they square Saturn? I don't know but point is, I think you're onto something!

This is the perfect description! I had this with the weird ex we talked about.... it was so horrible. First infatuation and then I really, really grew to HATE him because I realize how much I hated myself for being with him in the first place. :'/

Also, I sent you an e-mail! I hope you like it and we can start talking again soon.

Its double whammies.
their sun square my pluto,
my sun square their pluto,
They have the pluto square sun stuff natally too.
I think I may be the pluto tho, my pluto seems to square their sun more tightly, like a 0 degree orb.
It doesn't start off with hate right away tho it does sometimes.
I just met this guy for the first time, and while in the middle of talking to him he says "I hate her voice" and I'm like ... uh who you talking about?
Yes he was talking about me... rest of the conversation wasn't pretty.
Afterwards I was offended and stopped talking to him, strangely enough tho, a few days later we were getting along great, almost too great, we did have the love stellium in composite tho.
I also have this aspect with a bestfriend, this time exact aspects 0 degree orbs and we have the sun square pluto in composite exactly.
We laugh and have fun a lot, I really liked and admired her, but it crumbled apart. Her jokes began to get harsh, and thus began the seething below the surface pluto.
She would say a mean joke, I would do it back, and it totally ruined our friendship. It was difficult, knowing I could have stopped it, but in reality I couldn't!
I did express to her she was being mean at one point in which she laughed. In a very cruel and harsh pluto way. I guess she would rather kick me while I was down.

I think thats the thing with having Scorpio Moon or Sun square Pluto natally, is that I find it hard to show vulnerability, I always have to be in control of my emotions.
I see this in the people who have it natally too.

And in synastry it's always intense, hate or love. Theres a fight of who's in control, if both want to be the leaders, then theres a nasty fight of who has the upper hand.
However if both agree that they are equals then theres a intense feeling of mutual respect and getting each other.
But it can go both ways just as fast lol

This has been my experience so far.

Stockholm syndrome for the Pluto =(.

Love like you never experience before; and hate their guts for it.

I'm a Taurus Rising too.
I guess that Scorpio on the DSC makes us fantasize about those plutonic traits lol.

Who are you in the Sun-Pluto Synastry aspect?
My Sun and Mars square my crush's Pluto.
