How many of you work for the Government of your country?Or an organization that represents a strict authority in your country?and /or How many of you have ascended to a post of authority in your organization? cap sun 12th house, taurus mars 4th house, cap saturn in the 1st conjunt ascendant, north node n venus, square my moon and MC, trine mars/pluto, oppose chiron.I don't really trust the government(s) and the system(s). I’ve been offered promotions a few times. I politely declined each time.

I've noted that saturn dominant people work for the government at least for an organization that represents a strict framework.My dad is a cap moon,merc,and mars. He worked for the government for his whole life. Ascended to level of authority very quickly but not without hard work. Same for my sister,she is a cap sun,merc,mars. She works for an organization that is quite powerful. The guy I know is a cap sun,moon,merc and mars. He is one of the big guns in a banking institution. And of course, me. I work for the government, an organization that deals with the formulation of laws. I think it would fit Saturn, he is a father figure of some sort, an authority figure that represents a disciplined regime,a regulating body. But how would you differentiate the authority of Saturn with that of the Sun?

What I'm about to say is just a guess. The Sun rules Leo, which represents adolescence. Both Saturn (father) and Sun (teenager) seek power, but the difference is the Sun has a more rebellious, attention-seeking approach whereas Saturn is often in the background with the nose to the grind gradually climbing the ranks in order to acquire power. Saturn represents the people who make you wonder,"When did he/she become the boss? How did they do it so quickly?" Saturn earns their position through sheer hard work and diligence. The Sun earns power in a more dramatic and maybe public way that attracts attention. That's my take on it. I'm far from being an expert in astrology. IP: Logged |

@ AstraI like what you said! ,"When did he/she become the boss? How did they do it so quickly?" That's exactly what people think about me. I don't look my age. People usually take me for someone much younger.But it's through years of hard work,perseverance,lots of failures that I am where I am today. I don't have to shout out my authority to make it felt or respected.I definitely like your take on sun/saturn. I have the conjunction in Leo. I think sun/saturn has SO MUCH that we still don't understand. IP: Logged |
