I was thinking abut this last night. If one or both people have a natal aspect, and it is as mimicked in the composite - it doesn't feel as harsh to me or I don't feel it at all. I have already mentioned I felt this way about synastry. If a composite is the blending of both charts (no?) then the new energies would be the ones that would most likely affect me - not the energies I've been balancing all my life. What do you think? I was reading our astro-click partner last night to my boyfriend and some of them felt like -- ooo, yeah we feel this.. jupiter, you're so sweet. and then when i got to the venus opp uranus and saturn part it was like "yikes." (we both have this natally, our venuses are 1 degree apart) we also have moon/pluto in composite which i have in my natal chart but his opposition is too wide to be an aspect. i could see how there might be a hint of that in our relationship which i would probably be more comfortable with because i have it in my birth chart. Am I making sense? What do you think?

Ah, yes. I think so.Pretty sure it's less "in your face" because you have it in the natal, so you're used to that energy. Like, whenever I have Mars/Pluto in composite, it's no big deal cause I have it natally. But throw in a Venus/Uranus square, and.. that one's pretty upsetting to me, cause I don't have them in aspect natally.

Interestingly I`ve made the different observation; that since it comes up in both natals it is really a "theme", and in terms of challenging aspects gives them the possibility to work out any kind of issues surrounding that theme or find a more balanced way to deal with it.

^ I've thought about it, too.. but it doesn't seem to work for every aspect.Sometimes it's a yes, other times it's a no. I don't have enough experience to back it up. IP: Logged |

Sometimes with outer planets projection comes into play instead of the participants experiencing the theme as "theirs". It seems to come from an external sourche in such cases. Not sure if that is true for composites, I have often found it in synastric aspects of personal planets with Uranus, Neptune or Pluto, though.IP: Logged |

This has been my experience...
