I am starting to figure out how a transit actually works.

One would normally think that you need a catastrophic event to happen for one to recognize the realization of a transit. However, the actual energy is sometimes very subtle; either that or this whole post is self-delusion!

I will speak briefly about 3 transits that happened/are happening and the way they are/have played out.

Last week, I was due to introduce a program in a meeting. For some reason that I just couldn’t fathom, I was super nervous and my lungs literally closed up. I couldn’t speak. Each time I tried to say something, it felt like someone was shoving a watermelon down my throat.

Transiting Jupiter was in Gemini (Mercury-ruling communication/lungs and nervous system)-exactly opposed my Sun in Sag by less than 1 degree. Now that’s intense!

I actually thought that it was going to be a lot more casual than it was. Much of what I knew about the program was generic and painted with a very broad brush. I admit that I was semi -prepared and the seriousness of the meeting caught me off guard.

My audience was very “Jupiterian” in nature: Connoisseurs (Jupiter) in detailed- figures (Mercury). So, you can imagine how that went.

This opposition made me feel like an idiot, as if I didn’t know what I was talking about when they started asking detailed question.

This was a classic Sagittarius (Sun)-Gemini (Jupiter) opposition playing itself out: I felt like they were (Jupiter) against me (opposition Sun) and trying to make me look inadequate.

Transiting Venus is squaring my Pluto by less than 3 degrees around this time.

Around this transit, a new employee had started on the job. I was immediately fixated, and even, attracted to him. And yes, he is classic Pluto in Scorpio in nature (private, compulsive, looks edgy, intense and in a position that is much more senior than my own).

I don’t know what possessed me but I started to pay attention to every little thing that he says/does; even now.

I do hope that this little infatuation passes as he is not deserving of the attention I am giving. I even fantasize about him being my secret work lover (transiting Venus in Leo squaring natal Pluto in Scorpio) I’ll see how this one plays itself out.

Transiting Mars is now opposing my natal Sun- Mars is in Gemini and although, Jupiter is still opposing my Sun, it’s moved to Cancer and so, the focus is not so much on mental hang-ups but more family/home oriented things now.

The Mars in Gemini is not very productive or focused. I’ve been on the phone a lot, browsing the internet and being more pre-occupied with social contacts than usual.

The opposition to my Sun suggests that, in large, this is wasted energy and that I should not be scattering myself all over the place-but I just can’t help it. Add to that the contacts that I make ,through the active Mars in Gemini transit, get judged by my natal Sun as “uninteresting”, “boring” or “shallow-minded”.

Very interesting, Aries23!

Totally seems to fit.

Astrology is wonderful.

PS. Careful with that little infatuation, there!
