So I'm looking at my Sun aspects and my Sun conjuncts Neptune. My Mercury conjucts my sun which also conjunct Neptune. I seem to identify more with the Neptunian nature of my soul. My Venus is in Pisces, which is ruled by Neptune. Then there's Pluto. My sun sextiles Pluto as well as my Mercury. My moon is in Scorpio. The Pluto in me is always seeing the dark side of things, especially when sizing people up. The other day most of you mentioned that Saturn is the strongest planet in my chart. I have 4 planets in Capricorn, two of them being generational planets. Do those count? If so, how? I don't really feel my Saturn influences, especially in my Sun. I never feel like a Capricorn. ------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com IP: Logged |

Then I have a lot of Cancer ruled Fourth house placements. Cancer is ruled by the moon so I look to where my moon is places in my chart. My Moon is in Scorpio which trines my Pisces Venus and Cancer mars. My Cancer mars is in the 10th house which is ruled by Capricorn and my Sun is in Capricorn, fourth house. Why doesn't my Moon in Scorpio aspect my Pluto in Scorpio? They're both in the 2nd house. ------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com IP: Logged |

Goatcat, I've notice this in myself and others I know. Whenever Neptune is in conjunction or opposition to the sun or moon, it seems to overshadow nearly everything else for some reason, so Neptune is felt more strongly. So, if it comes down to a battle between Saturn and Neptune, Neptune wins out. Same with Pluto. IP: Logged |

I look at it as: If I was from a planet, what planet would I be from? I cannot see myself coming from Saturn really. I feel so out of touch with reality. I have a strong will that I'm always tripping over...------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com IP: Logged |

Could I possibly see your chart Goatcat? I would say your strongest placement is Neptune, if what you are saying it as being in Capricorn. My opinion is that Neptune's energy is stronger than saturn's where it touches.IP: Logged |

I have concluded for myself that Neptune's influence overrides in my own chart. I have Saturn in Pisces conjunct my chart ruler Venus, in the 11th house. Capricorn Neptune conjunct my MC, while conjunct my Mercury as well and out of sign conjunct my Uranus in Aquarius.IP: Logged |

Hm...if you wanna be Neptunian, you could just say so. No need to start multiple threads trying convince others that you're Neptune ruled. Maybe you're a mix of Saturn and Neptune? My chart personally points to both Mercury AND Pluto dominance, so I think your chart could very well point to two planets as well, not to mention Saturn is in domicile (Aquarius) in your chart any ways and Neptune is in Capricorn. PS: The chart you posted in your previous thread must have had the wrong time or something because it said you had a Capricorn rising. Do you? 'Cause if so, your Moon and Pluto are both in H10, adding to Saturn's influence. PPS: Pluto influence doesn't make someone see the dark side of things, that's more of a Saturnine trait. IP: Logged |

You all kill me. Too much for me. I'm not tryna convince y'all I'm Neptune. I'm tryna get y'all to convince me that Saturn is my strongest planet. From what y'all say I can have all the Saturn in the world and still be knocked off balance by Neptune. Here's my chart: ------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com IP: Logged |

*Nods* it happens to me everyday with Neptune. And, I know someone who has the sun/Neptune conjunction and you can definitely tell by his life experiences, how he acts, etc, more than you can tell his other placements. Same with the house that has Pisces, it seems to override the house so it just becomes Pisces and doesn't really function as a house, just where Pisces does Piscean things.IP: Logged |

I wish I knew. It seems like the most powerful one imo. Maybe others disagree. They don't have Neptune conjunctions and opps to sun and moon, I bet.IP: Logged |

I said that because it's sort of funny to me...two threads asking virtually the same thing...you seem convinced that you're Neptunian but it's like you want reasons so you can say for certainty that you are. Or maybe you're just wondering if you're from Neptune? To be harshly honest, I think you're even less Neptune-influenced now. But you are very watery! Being very watery would lead a person to be dreamy, sensitive, escapist...multiple traits similar to Neptune. Indeed, I think Saturn is your dominant planet, but the Moon and Pluto seem tied for second. That's what it looks like to me. Do you think you could be like all three of those planets? What traits of Capricorn do you feel disconnected from? I mean, there are generally different little types of each sign. Capricorn has the old goat in the mountains, the sea goat from the depths...and your Mars, an important planet to Capricorn, is in Cancer... IP: Logged |

I'm just wondering why I cannot fully identify with my Sun sign. And I'm also wondering why Neptune is so powerful.I feel like the little lost goat who was given the directions to the top of the mountain but instead of printing out the instructions like my mom suggested, I used my phone instead but now my phone is dead because I kept stopping to Instagram, Vine, and tweet on the way there. And I forgot my phone charger. ------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com IP: Logged |

"I have a strong will I'm always tripping over..." You do? The most dominant energy in your chart is Capricorn. You can tell by the 3 x 4 grid on your chart. The vertical column represents air, earth, fire, and water and the three rows represent cardinal, fixed, or mutable energy. You have 4 planets with cardinal earth energy. I didn't look to make sure but I'm guessing that it's all Capricorn. Your ASC is wonky. I don't think you're very Virgo at all, much more Libra. Needy (no offense.). But this could identify why you don't feel in sync with your Sun. According to your chart your ASC is trine your Sun, so you've got this Venusian scent to a Saturn sun + Pluto. You would be much more like Libra / Scorpio than Capricorn. Also, don't forget that Capricorns are the opposite of Cancers and therefore share some similar traits. Perhaps because you're still maturing you would have more in common with Cancer than Capricorn. IP: Logged |

Eh, lotsa people don't identify with their Sun sign. Aspects and house and in general other influences definitely factor in. Personally, I don't think Neptune itself is more powerful than other planets, an outer planet conjunct or opposite the Sun is a powerful enough aspect any ways, no leaning to Neptune or Uranus, etc. Oh and about Moon and Pluto for your second dominants, your Fourth House has lots of action plus you have a Cancer planet to add to that. The Moon is in fall sign-wise, but is also exalted house-wise, so it's receiving action enough on its own. I say Pluto mostly because of a tight aspect to your Sun, it's domiciled, and you have a luminary in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

The generational planets count more when they aspect personal planets. If you plan on influencing the world, you should have generational planets configured with your personal ones. If you have aspects from the outers, and you make the effort, you stand a good chance of acquiring great things, like fame or money, from a vast multitude. IP: Logged |

Uranus will shake things up, Neptune will dissolve. You are right, Goatcat, about these two in Capricorn. They will change what Capricorn is all about while there, and will take away from the influence of Saturn, especially Uranus. TBH, I don't understand how Uranus can rule a sign that was once ruled by Saturn. It is nothing like Saturn, so how can it really be the ruler of Aquarius? Still not convinced on that one. It doesn't seem to have much in common with Capricorn or Aquarius either one, but can cause instability when in these signs. It has more in common with Gemini or Virgo than it does Aquarius. Maybe Scorpio, even? It's a higher octave of Mercury. IMO, Mercury has a special relationship with Scorpio even though astrologers do not acknowledge it, take a look at people having Scorpio Mercuries, they are pretty advanced in Mercurial areas. So, when these two planets are in Capricorn and you have sun or another personal planet there, you can expect to be pretty much a non conformist in life. You will struggle to fit in. You feel like making your own way. Uranus wants to cause upset in order, Neptune wants to dissolve barriers. You are not as rigid. You will clash with others who hold more traditional views. You will cherish your personal values above those of the status quo, and long to be with others who share your value system. You will have a strong connection to your own clique within society that will feel at odds with society at times. Same goes with your psyche. You feel like you do not always fit in with those around you. Just think, Uranus likes to cause upsets and disruptions, Neptune breaks down all barriers, dissolves them, so all is one. In Capricorn, they will work together to tear down rigid structures they do not feel comfortable with. IP: Logged |
