Vedic Astrology seems to be quite confident when it comes to predicting the general physical traits of one's future partner so I'm wondering if it's possible for western astrology to do the same.
So naturally western astrologers will look at the cusp signs and placement of the Sun ( for women), the moon( for men), Venus, Mars and the Ruler of the 7th House.So here I will get it a try :
I'm a female.
My Sun and my Mars are both in Sagittarius both conjunct IC in 3rd/4th House.
My Venus is in Sagittarius in 3rd House.
The Ruler of my 7th House is Neptune ( DC in Pisces.)
Neptune is in Capricorn in 4th House conjunct Uranus and trine ASC.
Jupiter ( natural ruler of my Sag Stellium) is in Scorpio in 2nd House. So, how do I figure it out ? Will he be tall, broad shouldered with a large smile like the typical Sag or will he more Neptunian in appearance : gentle eyes and delicate features ? Btw, in Vedic Astrology, my future partner is supposed to be plutonic in physical appearance with the square jaw, the intense eyes and the whole Scorpio package deal. IP: Logged |

I don't think you can predict the physical appearance of your future S.O like that.You may get some elements of their personality and the overall tone of your relationship though. But that's only my opinion!

I used to think that too but when I looked at my mom's birth chart, my father's physique was evident in it. Mom has a Sun/Venus/Mars Leo Stellium with Aries on the DC. Dad looks, talks and behaves like the typical fiery Leo in every way. IP: Logged |

That's interesting.It may work for some people but not for others..? I don't think my father looks anything like my mother's Sun / Mars / DSC combo. But there's surely some truth to it! IP: Logged |

My dad looks nothingggg like my mom's western astrology descendant and Mars. My mom had Libra on her descendant, with Neptune about ten degrees away in the 7th house. Her Mars was in very early Sag, possibly late Scorpio if the hospital was off with the birth time.My dad doesn't look Libran, Piscean, or Scorpionic at all. He did have a very Plutonian/Scorpionic temper when he was younger but he's mellowed out alot in old age, but having Pluto in the fifth (love affairs) could explain that just as much as the Mars could; also, so could having Mars square Pluto. I will say this though, you can definitely see my mom's kids highlighted in her western natal chart. She had Leo on the fifth house cusp, and Pluto in there - and literally ended up with a Leo child with a Plutonian tint to their chart. IP: Logged |
