I've started a thread about this years ago, but now I'm confused again.
There's a confusion or contradicting info about the daylight savings time on the day I was born.
One of my closest freinds tell me that I look like a Leo asc but my mom says that I'm more like cancer...
Can you tell me your opinions?

Going from your hair I'd say Leo but what's your personality like? Are you extremely vain and proud? Do you self-medicate with food? Do you have large breasts?

You look virgo/leo and maybe sag (the hair and the kind facial expression, the long face and the nose)

I really think ur rising is leo, because you have this expression that leos make---halle berry and jlo do it. And a couple of my leo sun friends

Edit: oo interesting, i would not have guessed pisces, but thats true, u have big deep doe eyes which is the feature of pisces

I'm somewhat proud but I have a 5th house sun... I have large breasts and yes I self medicate myself with food from time to time but then I have pisces moon.
It's a bit confusing, I appreciate the input

I am a sag sun runaroundscreaming From the outside I look more like a leo I guess because people have told me that I look proud and a bit arrogant but I'm not like that at all actually, it surprises me when I hear that but I've gotten used to it.

Thank you Doux Reve , if I didn't know my exact birthtime I'd say I was born on the cusp but I know the exact time and depending on the daylight savings time its either 23 cancer or 5 leo...

How about trying to see the kind of partners you've attracted so far? (DSC).

If it's Cancer - your DSC is in Cap, so look at the condition of your Saturn.

If it's Leo - the DSC is in Aqua, so look at Uranus and see from there.

I'm in a relationship with a pisces sun in the 11th house moon in scorpio conj saturn, we're planning to get married. My ex was also a pisces sun with moon in capricorn... I don't mean to make it harder but other than these too I've been attracted to capricorns and aquarius lol... In fact I've been only attracted to caps, aquas and pisceans in total...

Ive never met a leo rising that was shy
And you dont seem attention-seeking/extraverted enough (from pics)

Also, not a trace of the virgo i saw in the pic u posted lol. I see ur pisces moon now. Your expression seems more cancer now (always good to post a lot of pics!)

Look at the description for cancer and leo asc
Which one describes you better? That is always the best way to tell.

Hey RAS thank you for helping me! I do think that I look like a cancer sometimes but I'm not shy at all ( I used to be very shy until I was 15-16 though)
I also thought the same thing btw I keep feeling weird when I post my pics here, what a cancerian feeling at the same time I kind of enjoy it to say the truth, but still so cancerian lolz..

What Doux Rêve suggested about DSC worked for me.
I was confused about Libra or first degrees of Scorpio also, But I found I don't attract Taurus that much and Im not interested in them, and majority of my friends are Aries out of any sign.
So that might help in determining ASC.

You also don't have any of the cancer rising features which are big eyeballs/eyelids, ive noticed. Sometimes a big forehead also (it bulges outward haha), and usually a serious expression or a moody expression that seems kind of annoyed at the same time that theyre happy lol

Also you dont have the cancer asc bodytype which is curvy features especially curves in the waist area.....and also broad shoulders

But you have the leo rising bodytype which is skinny arms but big thighs (kind of cartoonish looking actually--think of an anime character or something) and if u were a cancer rising ur breasts would be more prominent as well as your neckbones and shoulders.

it may be my mercury conjunct neptune that confuses me so much even about my own asc.

Cancer, Doux Reve but when I check the official daylight savings time schedules for Turkey it's not correct. They've played with DST schedules so much here that it's possible that astro.com can make a mistake. Then again I'not sure...

Round broad shoulders, curvy and plump body, the breasts are accentuated, kind of soft supple skin, forehead sticks out, big eyelids, kind of big lips also

Personally, I think you're a Cancer ASC.
Some of your 1st house would fall in Leo anyway.

Have you tried to compare some big events in your life to your angles?

Did you ever move (changed countries)?
You can look at progressions for that date, or a date when a significant event happened, and see if the progressed or solar arc ASC or IC / MC was somehow involved.

I haven't moved... My ascendant may be cancer because I can relate with the 5th house saturn more than the 4th house saturn...
Also I lost weight and became very skinny in the autumn of 2004, it was the time saturn entered my first house according to the cancer ascendant chart, that may be an indication...
