I don't know how much consensus there was...
Maybe there would have been more if we looked at Venus, Mars or even Moon instead of Sun...

If I would guess myself, I would say...

Aries... excitement and loyalty
Taurus... appreciation and affection
Gemini... easy to get there, just not stay there...
Cancer... by being a perfect part of his 'white picket fence' perfect life
Leo... by being unique
Virgo... by being stable/offering stability
Libra... by being a trophy
Scorpio... by trusting him, and showing you can be trusted
Sagittarius... by letting him go
Capricorn... by following his rules and always being 'there'
Aquarius... by being a home base
Pisces... by not freaking him out
