My blunt Sagittarius Mercury conjunct my crude Scorpio Pluto in the communicative 3rd House and I've personally lost count of how many times I was accused me of having a "Razor tongue". The thing is once I notice something wrong/fishy, I just blurt it out regardless of the circumstances and boy... It does really get awkward so many times..Once I was at a party and I noticed faint traces of lipstick on the neck of my female friend's boyfriend. She was standing right there with us, I took out my handkerchief and handed it to him because I innocently thought it was hers ( the lipstick). I told him that he should've checked his neck before he came in. It turned out he was screwing her friend as well and made out with the other girl before the gathering. All hell broke loose and I actually outed him without even meaning to !! Situation like these happen to me all the time.... It gets out of hand sometimes. IP: Logged |

Its out of orb conjunction? What are the degrees? It sounds more Sag influenced than Scorpio.IP: Logged |

The example you regaled sounds more Sagittarius Mercury in general to me. Conjunct Pluto is more like striking to kill, knowingly. Do you do that too?IP: Logged |

Mercury is at 2° Sagittarius and Pluto is at 28° Scorpio. I notice things most people cannot see or take notice of. I think that's Scorpio and I blurt it out due to Sagittarius. IP: Logged |

Mercury conjunct Pluto people always know precisely what questions to ask. My M conj. P friend is always giving me ideas. They are probers and it's hard to lie to them. I have a fire mouth when I'm angry and it's hard to argue with me 'cause I'm logical, but I don't cut people the same way Mercury conj. Pluto can. I have Mercury sextile Mars and conjunct my Sun and Venus in Aries, so... definitely not the same weight.IP: Logged |

Your example sounds pretty solidly Sagittarius Mercury to me, but I think Mercury conjunct Pluto can lead to a "sharp tongue."It's more knowing exactly what to say to get the reaction you want. For example, I know exactly what to say to make each of my friends psychologically break so deeply that they'd need therapy for years, and even then they would never forget it. I would never do it because they're my FRIENDS (not to mention you'd have to **** me off very badly to get me to do it anyway) but I could. I think Mercury/Pluto (especially with Scorpio influences!) would also lead to a very inquisitive and deeply perceptive mind. It's hard to pull a fast one on a Mercury/Pluto person. IP: Logged |

In addition to other 3H Libra I have sun conjunct mercury conjunct pluto in the Scorpio cusp. Up until now I thought it was the Scorpio cusp that got me in so much trouble when I was younger, with all the Sag elsewhere in my chart "not helping." But thinking of Pluto & Mercury (and sun) conjunct in the 3H is another interesting aspect...Back before I learned to be more careful about what I said and asked (yeah, I still mess up sometimes, though one reason I got onto the net was so I could communicate openly without the fear of alienating everyone around me so that I couldn't live), I got into trouble a lot. And in all the schools I went to I came to an unspoken agreement with teachers pretty fast: they let me read or write stories after I finished my assignments faster than everyone else (even when they'd allow no one else to) and in return I did NOT ask questions (that plenty of times they couldn't, or WOULDN'T, answer). A classic example was when I had a relapse at 16. Two teachers made us watch an anti-drug video that was incredibly absurd, and one major point was how drugs caused one to lose all motivation so they failed, did nothing, "burned out," and even showed one guy get out of his idling car and walk away allowing his car to roll down the hill and crash. And I guess wrestling with the absurdity of this made me forget The Deal and when asked if there were any questions I saw the one teacher cringe like she knew she was going to regret it before calling on me (and I bet it was because I was the ONLY one who raised my hand, otherwise she'd have called on someone else and then not allow for anymore questions). And very sincerely, wondering how THEY could believe it (or at least explain it), I asked in genuine curiosity, "If drugs cause you to lose so much motivation that you fail everything and even get out of a moving car not caring, then why does the school make people who get accepted on the honor roll and join extracurricular activities take a drug test?" I was actually shocked when the class started laughing & clapping and then seeing the faces of the teachers I suddenly realized I'd broken The Deal before I was sent to the office for disrupting the class (and, of course, they never answered it). Many do say I sometimes state things way too bluntly, too, though thing is I'll almost never use profanity or Jerry Springer tactics (save in silliness rather than genuine anger), things my Libra mind has no respect for and sees it as the ploy of people who have no ground to stand on (and I'm convinced some people cuss every other word just to give their damaged brains an extra second to think of the next word they want to use and don't want to say, "um" or "duh" instead), and yet my getting right to the point and stating it matter of factly has made people all the angrier than a Jerry Springer style tirade would've. Even so, I do have to be careful with my teasing (and pranks, which apparently are so unique that the "victims" instantly know it's me who did it) as a lot of people sure can't take what they dish out. I love Mercury-Pluto guys; they have an acid tongue. Even moreso if Pluto is in the eighth. The force, it is strong with those ones.I have Mercury quintile Pluto and I've been known to skin people alive if they say the wrong thing to me, or respond to an idiotic comment/question with an equally idiotic answer, much to the embarrassment of the other party. My logic is, "Why waste real thought and effort on an intelligent, eloquent answer, to an asinine question?" I believe in giving an ignorant answer to an ignorant question; it doesn't deserve much else. IP: Logged |

You guys seem to have a superiority complex (and I'm including the people I know IRL who have it).Like what you say has to be right, and there's no other way. Gee, relax. It's not a competition! Otherwise you can be pretty funny with all the sarcastic / biting jokes (though it's too much sometimes). And quite perceptive, indeed. IP: Logged |

I have the sextile.I can be bitingly sarcastic in my speech that will be delivered with a poker face. People don't know if am joking or not. When I am in that mood, I seldom joke. But they aren't sure. They will try to smile me up. My poker face remains on. I secretly enjoy it immensely. The expressions on their face is comical. IP: Logged |
