Thanks Ami I've thought of going to a therapist but I'm not sure if I should do it or not... because it seems like a huge step to take alone.. IP: Logged |

Chiron in Taurus - conjunct MC (1 degree orb).I think this is reflected by my job in medical research and also in the way I see myself, and the way I think other people see me. Chiron is also widely opposite Venus (5 deg) the ruler of my tenth. Venus is in my third. I have had many issues with my siblings. Chiron is also widely (5 deg) square my first house Mars in Leo - and I think this reflects the overbearing negativity I can feel about myself sometimes. Chiron is difficult. I have read Chiron conjunct MC people find their early career very difficult and then progress much more easily later on, and in getting past the more difficult time are able to use those skills to help and encourage other people. Oh yeah. Chiron is also widely (5 deg) opposite the ruler of my 7th Uranus. The committed relationship sector of my life has been pretty crap also. I partially blame my Neptune in the 5th. Oh - and Venus in Scorpio square Leo Mars. IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in Cancer in the 2nd house. I always fear about money, and I keep saving it and I feel guilty when spending it. Also, two men so far that were very intimidating for me and I was very infatuate with them were Cancers. My Chiron is trine my Pluto.IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in Aries in the 5th house. I roll my eyes at Chiron practically everytime I see it in my chart. To me Chiron=difficulty. I have a feeling that part of the reason why I've had such a hard time in my romantic relationships or lack there of, is because of that asteroid. Ok, I am done venting. IP: Logged |

I have chiron in 12th house gemini. Chiron really confuses me (so does the 12th house xD). I can't really pinpoint what effect it has yet and most interpretations for it I cannot relate to with the exception of Chiron conjunct Moon (mine is 6 degrees so may be too far off but I can still relate to that interpretation). Even the Lilith conjunct Chiron almost exact I do not get. For example, I've read Chrion in 12th house may indicate a drug abuse problem or something- cannot relate at all. I've read may be a bad communicator- can't relate. Loner- can relate a little. Picked on by close family member- well moon conjunct answers that for me. Maybe this placement is making it so it is hidden from me. That I can relate to. I have no issues with gemini women or anyone. It may be one of my more favored signs to get along with. IP: Logged |

@themischievousone:I wonder if this book has a good handle on Chiron through the houses. From reading my own Chiron placement description, I don't really see a connection. Could you tell me if this makes any sense for you, please? Howard Sasportas - The Twelve Houses quote: Chiron in the 12th In Eve Jackson’s study, the third most frequent position of Chiron in the charts of healers/therapists is the 12th house. Of these, two distinct groups were noted: those who practised ‘spiritual healing’, such as the laying on of hands or even absent healing and those who worked primarily with dreams or guided imaging. I did a chart for a woman disabled from birth who has the Sun conjunct Chiron in the 12th; she now works as a psychological counsellor in a hospital (12th house of institutions). For those with Chiron in the 12th, unhealed wounds may be buried deep in the unconscious or stem from a difficult pre-natal experience. The psychologist Arthur Janov, author of The Primal Scream, was born with Chiron in the 12th in Aries: he feels that the way to reconnect to one’s true power and vitality (Aries) is through releasing these deeply entrenched early traumas. Reincarnationists might propose that those with 12th house Chirons have had connections with healing or teaching in previous lives. In any case, those with this placement have the potential to tap a rich source of practical wisdom stored in the recesses of their own psyches.
I have to admit, I'm starting to believe that Chiron may not be an inherent wound. I think it might be incurred at a specific time, maybe linked with the North Node's natal placement. IP: Logged |

Being incurred at a specific time would make more sense. I do find the part with past life connections to healing in previous lives. 2 reading I have gotten indicated such (and of course I have no idea xD). Stemming from a difficult pre-natal experience is also interesting. I'd have to ask my mom, but I was an emergency c-section at an odd time. It sure that couldn't of been caused by an easy pre-natal experience. IP: Logged |

This can be researched! I could easily look up celebrities or even family members, friends etc, that may have acquired a specific disease or affliction and then go to the date and look at the transits and/or progressions! IP: Logged |

Chiron in Virgo in the 6th house. I would think that it would be associated with health issues, but I've always been very healthy. I don't think I've really seen too many issues caused by Chiron.I only seem to have trines and sextiles to Chiron though. And a quintile to my Sun. IP: Logged |
