Can I please have a rant about a SPELLING ERROR /MISTYPE which seems to be rampant in posts here and everywhere. Despite the fact that this may spell the end of any goodwill I may have generated on LL, here goes....Nearly everyone below the age of 25 (probably taught by teachers with a shaky knowledge of Grammar) confuses two words:
your (This shows possession, e.g., 'your house')
and
you're (This is a contraction. It is a short form of 'you are' -where the apostrophe shows there is a missing letter - 'a')
Apologies to anyone who feels offended.
