Does anyone have any personal experiences with Virgo men who have Venus in cancer. Do they tend to blow hot & cold? What are these men like?

So wishy washy, I'm not sure I would like them. Probably like someone but I imagine they're the type who say "I need time to think" every other day.

Well they might be actually. My mum is a Virgo with Venus in Cancer. She often had guys at her hand! Giving her rings and cars and offers to fly her around the world. She would take their gifts, then break their hearts, but whatever, haha! It took her awhile to get over a heartbreak, though. Was a tough couple of years but we stood by her!
