Hi, I am a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon, Pisces rising, moon and Pluto in the 8th house, Virgo DSC and I can't stand liars as well. Yes, everyone lies, but, it irks me when people lie for their own amusement/ personal gain. I feel so hurt and betrayed. "Don't you care about me?" I give others a few chances before cutting them off completely for lying to me.

Ugh... it really does bug me. Someone else said that all people lie and you'll end up alienated. I have cut MANY people from my life and that's ok. I'd rather two or three people I trust with my life than a bunch of people who are unworthy of my time.

Well, I think I tolerate lying about stupid crap a little bit better with people who are strangers or acquaintances only because some people don't seem to understand that they don't have to self-disclose without lying. Plus, it's not my business, and usually I'm not invested enough to care. When it is someone I know well, on the other hand... Let's just say I don't generally keep them around for very long any more after a really bad incident that happened with a close friend I used to have who lied about arbitrary things (he apparently also lied about less arbitrary things).

I've also cut people out of my life for this reason. Like I said, I don't have the time or energy to decipher other people's BS, so if they aren't mature enough to tell me that they have a concern that they need to express, I simply stop dealing with them. I usually give people ample opportunities to do this though, so I don't really do this until I feel like the relationship is beyond repair.

I had a friend who claimed to hate lying. As it turned out, she was the biggest liar of all. I'm not saying you are a liar, Sweet Scorpion. You seem like the genuine type. I'm just saying that there some people that "doth protest too much."

When someone repeatedly talks about how honest they are (such as my former friend), then that is a major red flag for me.

The proclamation, "I never lie," is itself a lie.

I have a hell of a time trying to tell a lie. When I have tried (much more often when I was younger), I either start smiling/giggling or look away or otherwise get nervous and then I just back out and fess up!

Gah! It's so uncomfortable. It's really not a natural state for me. To the point of hurting feelings because of my blunt, straight forward nature.

Hey don't ask me if your pants make your butt look fat if you don't REALLY want to know.

And that sucks because some of my friends come to me with heavy stuff specifically because I won't sugarcoat things and sometimes those conversations are difficult because I know I have to say what they don't want to hear.
