Hi Guys,I have been sitting here thinking and drinking(cold Chardonnay)...oh fine and eating Ice Cream(I'm a Cancer). Sometimes in Synastry we have a tendency to exclude human emotion when comparing to charts. Too many times have I read an article addressing...say ...a Sun Conjunct Moon and heard this is the ultimate ASPECT. Astrologers! Wake up. We are human beings, while astrology is certainly a science...it is an intuitive science. A sun conjunct moon may not mean anything to a person who is seeking his emotional opposite. Ultimately ...a Gemini Sun who subconsciously is seeking his emotional opposite may find more pleasure in a Saggitarian Moon before he finds it in a Gemini Moon. On the contrary...some people look for people who are just like them. As we all know whether someone wants someone who is just like them or is there pure opposite is strictly based on that person's intuitive Earth experiences that are not easily detected by astrology. Let us not forget about those individuals who crave a little fight here and there. Yes, I'm talking about those souls who NEED ...yes I said NEED SQUARES. Even those who WANT SQUARES. Let us not forget the human soul in our conquest to learn the science of a perfect relationship. I am here to warn you against complacency when judging charts. Please remember to consider human emotion and circumstance when judging charts. Love is a highly PERSONAL experience. Let us not forget that. Respectfully, Regulus The Grand IP: Logged |

I agree.I'm not putting too much stock in synastry anymore. It is better to look at natal charts to decipher who their (more or less) attracted to.IP: Logged |

Yes.Natals can give so much information by themselves.

haha Gemmy, That's not what I meant. Synastry is still valid. Before you weigh the aspects in synastry first knowing the specifics of a situation can help clear the smoke present in situations. ASTROLOGY IS MEANT TO ASSIST US--NOT LEAD US! REMEMBER TO GO FOR A WALK OUTSIDE...ASTROLOGY CANNOT HELP US SOLVE THAT WHICH ONLY REQUIRES A RATIONAL MIND! Some of you already know this, but I'm reminding some of you who have lost your souls in the depths of astrological aspects and signs. <3 IP: Logged |

Yes.. it's so easy to lose oneself in all the astrological factors, sometimes we forget about "reality". Good reminder.IP: Logged |

Sorry. But I did find it to be true in my last relationship.I gave more attention to the relationship charts than I did to the natals.I think people tend to do that too.Especially when their new to astrology. And I do agree with you.Sometimes we do need a breather, from astrology as a whole. It gets too deep sometimes. IP: Logged |
