How do you pair them? Personally I like to observe how the planets behave with opposite planets, and this includes Venus and Pluto (Taurus and Scorpio), Sun and Uranus (Leo and Aquarius), and Moon and Saturn (Cancer and Capricorn), and so on. Like that, you get Mercury and Venus with two opposite planets.I personally don't really like the Sun and Moon as opposites to be honest, but then again, I can see how they're a pair. I like to think of Mercury and Venus as a pairing too, since both orbit the Sun. Then Jupiter and Saturn are a bit of a pair too... I dunno, how would you yin and yang the planets? IP: Logged |

My own parings are probably not very creative I agree with mercury and venus Sun and jupiter Moon and neptune Mars and plutoUranus and saturn are the odd ones out, they're kinda like loners. Uranus likes do his own thing. Extending from that thought here are vedic groups but their based on compatibility thou. http://www.goravani.com/tables/jyotish_vedic_planets_3.html IP: Logged |

I agree with SE, the axis oppisitions itself depicts the balance that naturally exists. The planets that rules each sign has its own opposition, therefore making it balanced. Sun-Uranus Moon-Saturn Mercury-Jupiter/Neptune Venus-Mars/Pluto IP: Logged |

This is interesting. If the oppositions are the "correct" (I'm just going with an idea, don't shoot me ) pairs then why would the Sun and Moon be so touted? Following that I would arrive at the idea that the Moon and Sun are opposites in our world. One is day, bright, warm. The other is night, dark, cold. What other characteristics could we give to planets that don't seem like pairs from the zodiac's oppositions? IP: Logged |

^ Agreed. It may sound conventional but I like the way the planets are "paired up" now. It just seems right! /sonotUranian. IP: Logged |

I just use the original with Apollon and Artemis as another pair. Apollon-Kronos & Ouranos Hermes-Dios/Poseidonas Aphrodite-Ares/Hades Artemis-Kronos Apollon-Artemis I'm with Doux Reve on this. ^_^------------------ And it was just getting interesting... IP: Logged |

yeah, sun and moon opposites are crappy (my dad has aqua sun and leo moon, even though i love him to pieces, he can me so confusing and hypocritical which stirs up the blood in me...). I personally got venus (tau) opp pluto (sco), venus opp asc (sco), moon opp asc and pluto, sun opp asc and pluto and I freaking love those positions, I don't know, it just makes You cool and I love oppositions in everyone else I know too. It's funny 'cause in my opinion they're usually acting positevely, whereas people talk **** that it makes you this and that, but yeah, it's cool IP: Logged |
