Ah yes I've heard of that, isn't it used for rating the auspiciousness of your planets for transits? Here's mine I'm not sure what you mean by counting? I have not used it that much I've just heard of it, sorry

Wow your 4th and 5th house is quite active!!!That seems quite auspicious! What have you experienced using this method with transits? do nice things happen when planets are in those houses? IP: Logged |

When planets transit the houses of the highest bindus yes! my atmakaraka is venus she has the highest bindus in H5, H2,and H9, plus the lords of H9 and H6 ( mercury) tightly conjuncts each other with Lords of H5 and H10 ( venus) forming karmadharmadhipathi. mercury has the highest bindus in H4,H11 and H3

The house with the lowest bindu shows the area where you have to give more of yourself. Likewise I have a loww bindu in ASC like you, we need the help of others to carry out our karma lesson in this life...there are so many things that can be predicted by using this sytem..Whenever a planet is transiting a sign with low points, low points being below 4, it is always going to give trouble to that sign and trouble to the planet’s significators. 0, 1, 2, or 3 points = Bad; 4 points =Average; 5, 6, 7, or 8 points = Good. Jupiter supposedly is said to have more than 4 bindus in every sign, but mine is not quite like that. BUT what I really really like is : In my weakest house of bindus Jupiter is the one with the highest bindu (5). It's good to have Jupiter as a saving grace. Saturn is said not to give more than 4 bindus, he is the most stingy one with respect to giving good bindus. I guess it's another grace to have him with 5 bindus in my H4 and H5,although he is a real miser in H6,H7,H8,but picks up in H10 and H11. IP: Logged |

How are bindus calculated exactly? But you know you know I have my sun moon mercury and venus conjunct in the first house so maybe that makes sense like you said I have to concentrate on first house related things!Do you have a lot of planets in the first house? Maybe in my past life I neglected myself and need to experience selfishness. My atmakarka is Mars and currently Uranus is over my mars and it's making me crazy!!! LMAAAAO. Also mars is in Pisces ruler mars is given a high rank in the 12th house according ashtakavarga table IP: Logged |

Omg I didn't see that. Jupiter is very unhappy in my 4 house with 1 measly bindu.. Also Saturn is in the 9th house and only has 4 bindus in the 9th house.... Which I guess isn't too bad for saturn. IP: Logged |

http://www.astrosage.com/freekundali Modern vedic astrologers use them, in ancient times they have no idea those planets existed. Although some astrologers ignore them and feel they do not effect us in a personal level, or they strictly follow the vedas. Some of them only use them for world events etc. Really depends on the astrologer. IP: Logged |
