Dude... how does 167 (the summation of the six houses) make it to 171?

Isn't the 1st house already part of the 167 figure? If we add Lagna, aren't we counting it twice?

It doesn't. I added up different houses. 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 11.

i'm getting confused but i don't think it's just adding the 1st again. right? the lagna column only has 7 values and the lagna is supposed to be the 8th. and to get that u have to add 12 of something from each planet... yes?
