If not, which house does? Thank you. ------------------ Rose: “Can I ask a dumb question?" Dorothy: "Better than anyone I know." Rose: "What color is black people's dandruff?" Dorothy: "Rose, black people don't have dandruff. God figures they've been through enough already." The Golden Girls

First house rules head, different houses rule different parts of the body. Look at the ruler of the 1st house and the sign it is in as well.IP: Logged |

The Ascendant is your physical self and the ruler of your Ascendant's placement has a big impact on this, as well as the aspects and any planet conjunct or opposite the Ascendant. Planets conjunct in the 1st House also have a say. Your Sun is your physical self-expression so it usually has an impact on your physical look too so you have to look at all of those. For instance, someone with Uranus conjunct the Descendant is usually taller than average, Uranus usually gives height whether conjunct or opposite the Ascendant/Descendant axis. Thanks, every one. To be honest I don't consciously know why I asked. Lol. Well, maybe I do: I've been eating like crap lately (emotional eating), and my HS (Higher Self) keeps whispering about the 1st house and health. Now, I know the 6th rules health and daily habits, and I made a connection between the first and the 6th. My Virgo Ascendant. Mercury is in Scorp in the 3rd. Maybe my anxieties will be eased by writing about...penises? IP: Logged |

do you have tJupiter sextile ASC/trine ruler? (is he in your 10th yet?) He's still in my 10th... been watching my waistline like a hawk in anticipation for this transit for the last few weeks actually. lol I have oppositions to ASC, DSC, IC rulers to deal with all at the same time, though... that's why, I'm so cautious with him in early Cancer and all.) haha I wonder how many Earth risings are battling with food cravings right now, especially us Virgo Ascendants out there? lol ~oh, dear... but ty for that laugh. Mercury in the 4th wants to go to the kitchen and cook something big... because we have eyes bigger than our stomach right now, of course. Oh, but my Mars in Scorpio would love to read what your Mercury has to write when you are finished, doll. ^^ just kiddin'~ it's the transit, it'll pass. Every time you want to pick up something to eat and you (know you) aren't really hungry, go for a brisk walk or jog instead. It'll keep you healthy and in a good frame of mind, you'll fill better instead of falling into guilt and laziness with the *grumblegrumble* cravings *cough* transit, methinks. IP: Logged |

each house natrually rules different parts of the body. One house does not "rule the body". Your own chart placements will effect each of those house placements. So I'd say the entire chart, taken as a whole is what rules the body. IP: Logged |

Different houses rule different body parts. i.e. 1st house the head, upper lip, and upper jaw. 2nd house rules the neck, ears, lower lip, and jawline. 3rd house rules the fingers, arms, shoulders, etc. 4th house: the breast, digestion, stomach etc. 5th house the upper back, spine, and heart. 6th house the abdomen, the intestines, and midriff. 7th house the lower back and the butt. 8th house your muscular system, and reproductive system. 9th house hips, and thighs. 10th house, the knees, bones, skin and teeth. The 11th house your ankles, shins, and calves. 12th house feet, toes and physical pain. IP: Logged |
